In just a few days the March Break will be upon us and the inevitable cries of “I’m bored” will be ringing through the neighborhood. Do you have your game plan in place? Are you armed and ready with a boat load of crafts to do and places to visit? Or are you like me, last minute planner extraordinaire? Last minute can often mean you get left behind (read: kids crying because you didn’t score tickets to that event) and lead to the purchase of more wine than usual. Trust me.
I have the perfect solution to your planning woes: pre-purchase tickets online to Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto and take note: just for the March Break, from March 16th to March 20th, 2015, Ripley’s will be opening its doors EARLY, starting at 8am!! To reward those early birds Ripley’s will be serving up free coffee and SunRype snacks until 9am! The early bird really will be getting the worm, err, snack.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Ripley’s last year and we look forward to going again. The Aquarium is huge, but not overwhelming. The atmosphere is very calm and soothing, but teeming with amazing aquatic life that will have you hopping from one exhibit to the next. To make sure you savor your undersea journey, moving walkways allow you to keep your eyes on the prize: sharks, stingrays, jellyfish, eels and more! Don’t forget your camera!
What sea creature would you most like to see at Ripley’s Aquarium? I think the sharks are the most exciting!
