I have wonderful news in the world of food allergies! This amazing company, Dare Foods, has partnered with Cineplex Movie Theatres to start offering peanut free snacks at their concession stands. As a food allergy mama I have been happily surprised by Dare Foods on many occasions. This privately owned Canadian company cares about quality and providing safe snacks for those with peanut and nut allergies as well as gluten. To celebrate the launch of this fabulous initiative Dare Foods will be hosting a movie screening in Toronto on February 21st at 10am! Make sure you check out the details below to sign up for complimentary tickets because they won’t last long.
Dare Foods has been going strong for over 120 years, serving a variety of cookies, crackers, fine breads and yes, even candy. Check out this post I did when Dare Foods introduced the use of Wow Butter, a nut free spread, with some of their most popular treats. Some of that will now be available when you take your family to the movies! Kudos to Dare Foods for making it easier for families with food allergies. We love you! ♥

This is news to me to but I guess that when you’re not affected by allergies you just don’t notice these thing the same. Food suppliers are getting much more into this sort of thing too which is really good. I have a son who’s lactose intolerant and am amazed at how much is now on offer. When he lived at home there wasn’t even 20% of what’s out there now.
