I have chosen a classic treat for this week’s edition of the Favorite Food Friday blog hop, brought to us by Sean from Disney Day By Day. This treat is especially special because it is customizable. Anyone want to guess what I am talking about? Die hard Disney fans will probably know I am referring to the Make Your Own treats that you can purchase from Goofy’s Candy Company in Downtown Disney! I love this place and we visit it during every trip and almost always get a Make Your Own treat. The one I share with you today is the classic Mickey shaped Rice Krispie treat that my daughter and I shared a couple of years ago. With the Make Your Owns you get to choose the base your treat is dipped in so we picked milk chocolate. The topping we picked was mini M&Ms and the drizzle was dark chocolate. If I am not mistaken I am pretty sure we were even able to use a Snack Credit from the Disney Dining Plan to pay for this yummy delight! This treat is so big that two can share and we even had some left over for later. 🙂

I agree Sean. Goofy’s is great for that although I must admit we have never picked anything but the Mickey Rice Krispie. Just something about it, sigh…

I love the idea of making different shapes of the rice krispie treats for different occasions – I made monster ones last hallowe’en but kept them as rectangles
This sounds dangerous for me because making my own would include showing restraint and I’m not that great when it comes to dessert. lol
