I think we can all agree that whether you have children or not labels are a great way to keep track of things.  I know that I am forever writing my own name on the inside of day timers or books I lend friends, even on CD covers.  Or how about when you bring your favorite dish to a pot luck dinner?  Okay, well that won’t be me bringing a favorite cooked dish, but you get the idea. 🙂  Labels are handy to have around and with the abundance of choices out there we have no need to write our kid’s names on a piece of masking tape and hope it doesn’t fall off after the first day.  You know what I’m talking about…

I recently had the opportunity to check out Label Daddy and test drive the newest addition to their design line up; NHL logos!  It was a perfect choice for my William since he just started school this fall.  I have become a labeling fool in the past six weeks.  Seriously.  The two daddies that are the brains behind Label Daddy have wisely given their customers the option to pick from six great collections, like Marvel or Disney.  They have over twenty-five logos in the NHL line alone!  There is a design to suit everyone’s taste, which is great if you have more then one child or just like variety.

For this review I chose the 24 pack of Shoe Labels, which are perfect for William’s growing feet and the onset of boot weather.  Parents know what that means; extra shoes for indoors.  I also selected the 75 pack of Extra Small Labels, which are ideal for pretty much anything from clothing to snack containers you want to come home from school.  I picked both of these with the logo of the Toronto Maple Leafs to be somewhat loyal to the home team.  You can choose from a white or dark blue background.  I went with the dark blue so they blend in better with William’s belongings.

The nice thing about Label Daddy labels is the quality.  I have put them through the dishwasher and the microwave and they stay on perfectly, without any fading.  They have also withstood the ultimate test of being in William’s running shoes without slipping from their original position.  I found this to be an important factor because a slipping sticker is truly annoying when under foot.  Literally under foot.  I had a few questions when placing my order and I found the customer service department to be efficient and quick.  As a first time customer I was impressed with the speed of my delivery as well.  Label Daddy has a huge array of sizes and packages to choose from, including Allergy Notes, which is extremely important for our family.

    Suzanne this is awesome! I needed new shoe labels for the boys and have been putting it off as the styles from the other companies don’t really match my growing boys, but NHL! Tristan is going to be so excited to have his favorite hockey team in his boots! Going to order some right now! So thanks again for sharing!

    Those labels are awesome, but as for my favorite, I would go Montreal Canadiens all the way, but my kids would argue that and say Calgary Flames or Philledalphia Flyers

    I haven’t realize how much we need labels until my child went to school. It became a necessity now, quite expensive one. Too bad I can not enter the giveaway (don’t do the FB), these labels look great!

      Oh, I am sorry Ira 🙁 I forget that not everyone is one FB these days. It is crazy how much we need and use labels though. I have run out more then once! Thanks for stopping in and I will see what I can do about the FB entry for future giveaways..
