Despite the avalanche of electronic ways to store your notes and other information I still like to use a good ole notebook to jot things down. I am a list maker, tried and true! That’s where May Designs comes in. This charming company was born from the idea a self proclaimed notebook junkie, Mica May, came up with and has been growing ever since. Until very recently May Designs products were only available in the United States. Luckily for us they have realized that Canadians are paper dorks to and May Designs now officially ships to Canada!

It took me awhile to determine which May Book design I wanted to order because they have a ton of options to choose from. The pretty patterns are stylish and come in a variety of colours and you can choose to have a monogram added to your May Book as well. Although I really loved the Modern Geometric and Rise School Art Book patterns I decided to try out the very cool Oh, Canada line, in keeping with May Designs Canadian launch! Of the four options to choose from I went with the Lumberjack Plaid. Isn’t she pretty?

May Designs is known for being Eco-friendly, which is another reason to try out one of their lovely May Books. Each book is sewn together, kicking it old school, with a sewing machine! The thread is excellent for the environment and makes the books virtually impossible to rip apart.
