Holiday Smells Aren’t Always Pretty. That’s Why We Have GLAD

December 23, 2014 By: MapleMouseMama33 Comments

#GLADFreshFOodChallenge

This time of the year the smell of gingerbread and hot chocolate often fills the air, in homes, stores and bakeries, right? Mmmm, I just love it. 🙂  During the holidays we tend to spend a lot of time in the house, baking, entertaining, watching Christmas movies and just enjoying our home.  Sometimes we might get a little lazy and leave a chore or two for a day, like say, taking out the trash.  You know what I mean, right?  You try and squish some refuse down into the overfilling bag, hoping it can take another day’s worth and then it hits you – the smell. Yuck! I truly can not stand the smell of garbage. What is that old expression? Gag me with a spoon, or in this case, gag me with the smell of garbage!

glad debrezeThank goodness for GLAD® and their line of Odour Guard Bags with febreze freshness, which help to neutralize ordours of all kinds.  The line of bags that come with febreze freshness include the Large, Regular, Tall and Compostable, which is excellent for the smelly food waste that can build up.  They also come in two heavenly scents; Lavender and Fresh Clean. Totally not gagging on a spoon here now 🙂 The GLAD Ordour Guard Bags come with their Easy-Tie handles so that packing up your garbage is just as easy as it has always been, only now you will not feel the need to wear a face mask when taking out the trash.

GLAD

Why not try some of GLAD’s Ordour Guard Bags with febreze freshness this holiday season.  After all, chestnuts roasting on an open fire smell amazing, but once they have cooled, well, let’s just say you will be happy to have some febreze freshness around. 😉

Do you use your composter?

This actually sounds like a pretty useful product. Maybe I should tell my roommates about this but actually it is still rather disgusting, but good for use on special occasions.

will be very useful for those who have to keep their food waste indoor for a while before throwing them out. in my country, most of our apartments come with a direct refuse chutes built inside our kitchen to throw our rubbish down to the collection point at ground level, so we won’t really need such rubbish bags to fend off odours.

I normally use Glad with febreeze but bought another name brand due to a high value coupon last time. Boy was I upset! They break when they get NEAR full and they do not help odor at all. I’m sorely disappointed and will be letting the company know that I prefer Glad over their brand.
