I know that everyone is looking for a reprieve from this horribly harsh winter we have been having and I have just the answer for you: the annual Canada Blooms festival!!! This amazing start to Spring will be held from March 13th to March 22nd, 2015 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto. This is what you are in for when you visit Canada Blooms:
Canada Blooms is an annual world-class festival that connects people to the joys and benefits of nature through experiences with gardens and flowers by promoting, educating, inspiring and celebrating all aspects of horticulture. A not-for-profit organization that gives back to the community throughout the year by funding community garden projects around Ontario, Canada Blooms is also dedicated to providing the community with horticulture expertise, education and resources on an ongoing basis.
Now in its 19th year, Canada Blooms was founded by Landscape Ontario and The Garden Club of Toronto. Each year it is supported by a committed group of partners, sponsors and volunteers. Canada Blooms has been named One of Ontario’s Top 100 Events by Festivals and Events Ontario and One of North America’s Top 100 Events by the American Bus Association.
Canada’s largest flower and garden show is once again co-locating with the National Home Show and guess what? We have two tickets to give away!! All you need to do to enter is leave me a comment telling me what your favorite flower is OR what your favorite season of the year is? Please note that this giveaway is open to Canadian residents age 18 and older. You must be able to get yourself to the show and the tickets will be mailed to the winner. I will email the winner and you will have 24 hours to reply and accept your prize. No purchase is necessary. ARV is $50.00. A Skill Testing Question will be included in the email to the winner. This giveaway will end on March 1st, 2015.

Imma do both. I love tulips. (My mom’s side is Dutch, but I’m sure it’s just their simple beauty and elegance!) And my favourite season is late spring, like the month of June. (Late spring specifically isn’t a season, but I don’t love late March/early April.)
