We are now well into the new year and 2015 has shown its might in several ways. The weather has been tough all over with blizzards, freezing temperatures and ice storms. People have been getting sick with outbreaks all across the world from bad flu bugs to far worse with cases of measles making headlines. The year 2015 was off to a bad start, but that does not mean we all have to suffer that same fate!
Did you make a New Years resolution or two? I tend to not make my resolutions public knowledge, but that doesn’t mean I don’t make them. One of mine for 2015 was to spend more time with my husband and children, just being together, creating new memories and I am happy to report that this one is well on it’s way to being fulfilled. It helped that we had a wonderful family vacation to Disney World planned for some time before the new year even started, but we have also connected in other ways, like cuddling more at night and making sure to say “I love you” as much as we can.
I also vowed to make this the year to overcome challenges facing me in my writing career, to build new relationships and work on strengthening old ones.
It only takes a few small changes to set the right path for you and your loved ones – that’s especially true for your health and well-being. It doesn’t require buying a gym membership or going on some crazy diet. Try going for a walk around your neighborhood or using your bike for those shorter commutes, add a veggie dish to every meal and take care of your body.
To help you keep your New Year’s goals in mind and focus a little bit more on you, we have a wonderful prize to share with a lucky Canadian reader, aged 18 and older. Before you enter please be sure to read the terms and conditions. This giveaway ends on March 31st, 2015. This New Year’s Reminder Prize Pack contains:

Suzanne, your New Year’s Resolutions show that you are a great Mom. I am going to take your resolution to say “I love you” more often and make that my spring resolution!
Aww thanks Brenda 🙂 My parents taught me well <3
No resolutions made this year, but I plan on picking biking again, and just bought a bike trailer for my girl, that counts right? 😉
Certainly does Laurie, I think that is great!
My new years resolution was to lse the weight after my c-section and to sleep more. So far, I’m keeping those goals moving. 🙂
Good for you Elizabeth!
Hi Suzanne, I, like you, don’t tend to make New Year’s Resolutions but as things go I did get involved with a program from the YMCA early in the year and I was surprised at how out of shape I was. So since Feb. I have been riding my stationary bike every day, and I go out to Aqua fit, twice a week. I am seeing good results now and it just makes me want to keep going.
A little reward for all my hard work is always appreciated.
Great job Mom, I am so proud of you!

This year I did. It was to eat healthier, and so far so good 🙂

I try to stay in the moment, love and serve others and take care of my body.
I don’t really make any serious resolutions – I always start the new year with goals and hopes; however, life often gets in the way, and they soon fall by the wayside – of course, I am always thinking of losing weight, eating better, exercising more, and living stress free – always a struggle for me!
I have never made resolutions!

LOL, I know what you mean David 🙂
Yes I make resolutions. I have a few this year:
