How Next Issue Canada Gave Me Back My Royals…Sorry, The Royals #NextIssueCA

May 24, 2015 By: MapleMouseMama8 Comments

next issue canada

Several weeks ago I introduced you to Next Issue Canada, the awesome online source for over 100 of the most popular magazines out there today.  I tell ya, it saved my life these past few weeks. Having enjoyed reading magazines for most of my life I had come to realize the cost was becoming too high so I gave up buying those glossy papered periodicals. (read about that here)  The hardest break for me to make was with my long time love, People magazine. It was a tough time and lately it had been getting tougher.  A few years ago it was the Royal Wedding of Kate and Wills, then came the birth of Prince George.  2015 was starting to look bleak as my royal watching self was constantly being deprived of news on the impending arrival of Royal Baby #2.

Next Issue Canada

When I said Next Issue Canada saved my life I am not exaggerating.  This is a fantastic app for any magazine lover out there.  The past few weeks I have been able to leisurely read through the latest from People, check in with Martha (Stewart Living) and even test out a recipe or two from Weight Watchers. But best of all I have been able to surround myself with Royal everything!  I loved being able to open up my iPad anywhere and read the stories about how much like Princess Diana new mama Kate is or see how much Prince George looks like his daddy. Best of all has been reading all the latest from the UK as the darling Princess Charlotte made her arrival. Thank you Next Issue Canada for giving me my Royals back!

I’ve never been one to read magazines, I’d much rather have a proper book in my hand. 🙂

A few years ago I cancelled all of my magazine subscriptions in a futile attempt to control the piles of magazines taking over my life. Though I am old school and would rather have a “real” book or magazine to hold in my hands, Next Issue Canada is so much more economical than subscribing to the paper versions and no piles of unread magazines lying around!

I am like you Wendy and love to have a book in my hands when reading, but magazines are different. Another great thing about Next Issue Canada is all the extras it gives you, like access to more photos and videos!
