Traditionally this is the week that the lucky few who have made it to Round Two (R2) of the application process for the Disney Moms Panel will hear the good news and those who have not made it get their bad news. 🙁 I have never made it past Round 1, but my hopes are high for this year. Well, sort of. There are always moments of doubt, no matter how “ra ra” your attitude is going in. Lots of doubt, in fact. I know that the odds of making it are astronomical, but realistically someone has to be chosen, right? So why can’t it be me? See? The seesawing continues… Anyway, the emails usually go out around the weekend of Canadian Thanksgiving and that is fast approaching. Will I finally have a positive email to be thankful for this year? With all of the pixie dust in the word, I hope so!
As mentioned in an earlier blog post last week, many Moms Panel hopefuls got to meet up with one another at Disney World this weekend and have a nosh with some current Moms Panelists. The now annual meet and greet was amplified this year so that the 300 plus fans were invited to attend an elegant luncheon hosted by Ms Laura Spencer, at the California Grill. These lucky fans were treated to a few hours of photos, food and freebies. But more importantly, they were able to chat with those that make the panel what it is, the moms (and dads to 🙂 ). What an incredible day that must have been?! I have seen a few photos already today, but hopefully there are more reports to come. I can hardly image what a FANtastical time it was for all. 🙂
So, I will bide the waiting time by reading mini trip reports and checking out everyone’s pictures. With a little Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust my next post about the Walt Disney World Moms Panel will be to share that I have moved on to Round Two. 🙂 Wish me luck!!

I’m right there with ya! 5 years of applying and I have yet to make it past round 1. Am I too old? Did I miss a trick question? Waiting, waiting, waiting! I’m a DVC member, 18 trips to the world, 3 cruises, I live, eat and breathe Disney!! Love your buttons and pics of the panel and faith…. Pixie Dust to you my friend!

LOL, your funny Carrie 🙂 Of course your not too old! But I hear ya. I have second guessed myself since hitting submit 🙁 I will still wonder what went wrong after the Round 2 emails go out. Yes, being pessimistic, but it is a defense mechanism… LOL! Good luck to you my friend. I think we shall hear the news soon.
