I can admit it, even as an adult I love dolls. I always have. I still have several of mine from when I was growing up, including my Rub-A-Dub Dolly named Pebbles. 🙂 This doll was a constant companion of mine for many years and I will never part with her. Dolls have a special place in my heart. Simple as that. But I have to admit that the dolls of my childhood do not compare to the interactive toys out there today. Dolls that can walk, talk, eat and poop seem to be the norm with each new one having even more skills.
One such doll is the new Baby Amaze from VTech. This sweet baby doll is available in several variations, like the Peek & Learn Doll, which allows for a different experience with each one. With the Peek & Learn Doll your child can cover the dolls eyes and play Peek A Boo! There are four interactive buttons hidden on the doll that, when pressed, will teach your little one how to count, learn about different body parts and nurturing concepts. There is even a timer that allows for charming little melodies to be played for up to 15 minutes. The Baby Amaze Peek & Learn Doll has over 60 adorable songs and phrases that it plays. Your little one will love playing with this dolly for hours. The Baby Amaze line is exclusive to Toys “R” Us Canada, so make sure to check them out!
VTech has lots of awesome new toys for the Spring that would make a great birthday or even baby shower gift! I am saving the Crinkle & Roar Lion for my grand niece who will be arriving this summer! Interactive buttons let your baby activate sounds, learn letters and more. The crinkly feet, ribbons and textured rings help with sensory perception. I love that it can be attached to a stroller or carrier for ease of use. The Zoo Jamz Microphone and the Spin & Learn Colour Flashlight bring lots of music and song to your toddler’s play time and will certainly spark their creative side.
