Yup, you heard that right folks. Ms. Zoey has been camping! That is the beauty of a Maplelea doll. They can do just about anything you can do! Not only will your princess have a special friend to share her secrets with, she will also be able to take that special friend with her, everywhere she goes! Maplelea Girls offers a wide range of clothing and accessories for your doll and princess to play with. You can involve your doll in your favorite sports activity, have a sleep over party and even dress up all fancy like for a dance or family gathering! Maplelea Girls will send you out a lovely catalog that is full of great items for you to share with your doll and let your imagination run wild! Which brings me back to Zoey and her camping trip. 🙂
My daughter and helper, Emily has owned the lovely Taryn doll for a couple of years now and she loves her! Taryn is graciously sharing her camping gear with Zoey, so she can model it for you. The camping items are great for taking along on your own family trip. The Maplelea dolls have their own pop-up tent and amongst the various styles of bedding you can look at, you will find a sleeping bag! How cool is that?! Everything a doll needs for comfort under the stars. 🙂 Emily has used her Maplelea Friends journal to record the special times she has had with Zoey and this camping trip fits the bill. Zoey is dressed for comfort and style with her running shoes, pants ( that even convert to capris!) and her sweet Rockey Mountain t-shirt. As every child knows, a hat is must for being outdoors.
The nice thing about Maplelea Girls is that even though each of the original six dolls has her own wardrobe, they are universal. This means that your Maplelea Friend doll can share and wear ANY of the clothes that “belong” to the other dolls. For example, if you are interested in the camping gear you will find it under the Taryn doll, but it is not limited to just Taryn! There are all kinds of beautiful shoes, jackets, skirts, hats etc.. that your princess can imagine being on her Maplelea Friend and as they are all 18 inches tall, the clothes will fit. Emily loves to dress up her Maplelea dolls in this beautiful blue and feather outfit that originated with Jenna, but as you can see it looks lovely on Zoey to. 🙂 And the clothes are easy to put on! I love this about the Maplelea line. The clothes have elastic waist bands, Velcro or snaps to make getting the clothes on and off very easy, so even little hands will be able to dress up their friend. This aids a child in the development of their self esteem because they can accomplish this task on their own. Plus, it allows a continuous flow to happen during the child’s play time.

Cute doll cuz! I don’t have any daughters, but I do have neices who would love this, and even more, I have to buy a gift for a girl at a womens shelter this year, wouldn’t a little gal who may not get anything and has been through so much, love to have this! In fact, if I won her, I would make sure a little girl who at the shelter would take good care of her. Hope I have a chance to do that 🙂 thanks!

Wonderful idea Stef, I think that is brilliant! These dolls would make a great companion to any little girl, but especially one in need.
Good luck and thanks for entering!

That is so great that Emily took Zoey on her camping adventure! What fun! That would be really nice to be able to do that some day with my girls and their doll! And I LOVE the blue dress with the white frill cuffs – beautiful! 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
They both had fun Caroline!! The camping set is pretty cool and the tent folds flat so it can go anywhere! The blue dress is a favorite for my Emily as blue is her favorite colour 🙂 She wants a dress just like it!

Caroline MacKinnon says
The set does look pretty cool!
We have never taken the kids camping (sad I know; we typically only do cabins!) so I think that would be a great incentive to get out and do something like that. Memories!
And blue is Makayla’s favorite color too! 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
We are not campers either Caroline, but we love the beach and this tent does well there to 🙂

I like the Canadian made idea. 🙂 Don’t see a whole lot of that anymore…
MapleMouseMama says
So true Tara 🙁 It is sad to think most of the toys are kids play with nowadays come from very far away… So Maplelea Traditions is a great company and I am proud to be a part of that right now!
Thanks for entering and good luck!

I have heard so much about these dolls, my daughter is 5 and has a friend who has the taryn doll and she loves playing with her. I know she would love to have any of the dolls from here, she’s not picky, they are all pretty! 🙂 The doll would be very loved here and it’s awesome that it’s Canadian too, always a plus! 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
Five is a great age Mella! My daughter Emily has Taryn and loves her dearly 🙂
Good luck and thanks for entering!

What a fantastically Canadian doll! I had to check out the page – and would have to say if I were to choose a doll to bring home for my 3 year old, it would have to be Brianne as she is quite the spitting image of my Rhowyn. From that adorable farm girl smile and beautiful colouring to her cheeks, to the blonde hair and blue eyes – she is my daughter! And it certainly is quite the coincidence that she too is from friendly Manitoba!
For her dressing up – I would imagine that she should of course have the ballerina outfit .. that flouncy pink tutu and the slippers – adorable. Will go quite nicely with my own girl’s pink tutu and slippers. And also … I realize that it was put together for Alexi, but my Rhowyn’s favourite colour is purple, and that plum princess ensemble would just make her ecstatic!
I finish this all by saying – thank you for this amazing .. well toy just doesn’t seem to do these dolls justice. We’ll say friend for a girl (or boy!) Something well made in Canada… you can not go wrong there.
MapleMouseMama says
Wow Randi, I LOVE your enthusiasm!! Thank you for sharing a bit of your Rhowyn with us ( love the name by the way!). She does sound just like Brianne. I love the outfits that Brianne has, but that is the cool thing about Maplelea. Everything can be shared!! My daughter has had Taryn for a couple of years now and loves to check out the other girls stuff. And your very welcome for the contest. Maplelea Girls and Avonlea Traditions have been great to work with!
Good luck and thank you for entering!

I think that Leonie is a beautiful doll, and that she would look adorable in the Maple Cabin Lodge Set! I love the patriotic Canadian look!
MapleMouseMama says
Hey Laurie Anne, I think you are right! The new Maple Cabin Lodge Set is beautiful!! I just love that the mitts are like the ones we “used” to be able to buy for humans, LOL. Definitely patriotic!
Thanks for entering and good luck!

My Daughter would love Taryn. I like that they’re made in Canada…more things should be and promoted more!
I know for Taryn’s outfits she would like the khaki revival because it looks like one of hers and the garden discovery because it comes with a kerchief.
Great giveaway.
MapleMouseMama says
The Canadian tie is so important Tara. It really gives our children something to be proud of and to be able to write your doll’s story, to either match yours or be entirely different, is pretty special. Great choices for outfits to!
Thanks for entering and good luck!

My daughter would love Taryn and i love that they’re Canadian made and cute too.
She would like the khaki revival outfit because it looks like something she wears already and the garden discovery one because it has a kerchief. Great giveaway. thanks.

The more I peruse the Maplelea site the more I love the dolls! Not only are they adorable, but I love the distinctly Canadian stories they tell. What a fabulous way to instill Canadian pride in all of us young and old. I know that my daughter has always wanted one, but now I think I want one just for myself!!
MapleMouseMama says
LOL, I hear ya MaryBeth! I have always loved dolls and when I first saw the Maplelea collection I nearly passed out!! How fabulous are they?!! But the addition of being distinctly Canadian is the sticking point. Truly a great idea and pretty smart from a marketing stand point to!

Gemma says
I loved the picture of the two dolls on the toboggan! A truly Canadian sight! However, I do believe that my ‘Maplelea Girl’ would be a lot safer on a camping trip than on a toboggan! LOL And if I had one I probably would not give her a name but would leave it up to the little girl who would receive it from me to do the honours!
MapleMouseMama says
LOL Gemma, I kind of prefer the camping trip to, but I absolutely LOVE the new Canadian outdoor wear for the dolls and every Canadian kid has to try tobogganing at least once 🙂

Caroline MacKinnon says
We absolutely love the beach too Suz – and the tent does look like it might be a great place for a doll to hang out while we have fun in the sun! 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
Makes a great sunshade, LOL 🙂
Cindy says
I’ve looked through with my daughter and she loves Alexi! Her favorite outfit is the gymnastics outfit so that it can match her! I like Maplelea on both Facebook and Twitter, and I’ve “liked” you now as well on Facebook! 🙂
MapleMouseMama says
Awesome Cindy, thank you!! Your daughter has great taste! Alexi is beautiful and she has some pretty sweet clothes to boot 🙂
Thanks for entering and good luck!

It’s great to do your adventures with a friend when you’re young even if your friend is a doll.
