All are great ideas! I live in Ohio, and my 89 year mom lives in Kalamazoo, MI. I like to take her on outings so she gets out of the assisted living now and then. It gives her something to look forward to. Funny, I lived in Kzoo for 4 years but not when she lived there. So I take her places to which I never made it bc I was too busy working as a PT. I’ve taken her to Holland (MI), Firekeepers, Ann Arbor, Marshall, and I’m getting better managing her insulin. So I’d love to take her for a few days to Mackinaw or Upper Peninsula or ….another casino…or northern MI like Petoskey. She raised us in Philadelphia so she’s never seen the sights of MI. I’m not even sure she ‘s ever been to Detroit!

We are going to Phoenix next year so I would take the money and add to that trip and go to the Grand Canyon, my first visit!

I’d like to go to a pumpkin patch.
I would love to take a Fall trip around our famous Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia.
I would love to take my family to Barbados. I went when I was very young and fell in love with its’ beauty.
Our Family autumn tradition has been to go to the United Way Crayola Sale in Lindsay Ontario.
However we now live about 9 hours from there.
So time to find a new autumn tradition!
There is a Hey Day Sale coming up in Kapuskasing, perhaps that will be a close substitute.
