The #SantaFeSleigh Brings #HyundaiHoliday Cheer To Big Brothers Big Sisters

December 21, 2016 By: MapleMouseMama21 Comments

#SantaFeSleigh

We all know that the big guy from the North Pole likes to take a midnight ride on his reindeer guided sleigh on Christmas Eve each year, but what about when he is south, of the North Pole? Recently, some very deserving children from Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto got to find out when they were treated to a special visit from Santa himself. ♥

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto (BBBST) is a non-profit organization that brings together young people who need a positive role model in their lives. The volunteer big siblings are people who want to lend not only their time, but their hearts as well, to children and youth who need it most. These life-changing relationships help empower our youth to reach their potential, all while developing a special connection with their new friend. With Big Brothers Big Sisters Toronto, everyone is a winner. 🙂

The fine folks at Hyundai Canada wanted to bring some extra holiday cheer to BBBST this year, so they asked Santa to come for a visit. They even provided him with special transportation, riding onboard the Santa Fe Sleigh! And since Santa’s four-legged helpers are resting up for the big ride on December 25th, Hyundai Canada made sure he had his elves on hand to help out. Between that and the safety features of the Santa Fe Sleigh, Santa had no worries on this trip. 🙂

This remarkable event gave Santa the opportunity to meet some of the lovely “Bigs” and “Littles” (big brothers and sisters, with their charges) and truly make this year a holiday to remember. The children were each given a gift wish list item, to take home and treasure always. Hyundai Canada wanted to share this wonderful start to the season by sharing their video of the day with all of us. Can’t you just feel the love and joy radiating from everyone? ♥

The smiles from those children just warms my heart and gives me all the feels. ♥ Kind of makes me want to be a kid again.  Would you like to take a ride in the jolly ole elf’s #SantaFeSleigh? 😉

Happy Holidays!

FT&PD

Suz

This is amazing! Big Brothers & Big sisters has such an impact. My cousin was a big sister 20 years ago.. to a girl who was 6 years younger.

They are still friends today..and Sherry has become like a mother to her.

I love the fact that Hyundai are giving back in this way – Big Brothers and Big Sisters is a much needed programme and I think this is good for both the the big and the little kids, it’s good for both sides.
