It is hard to believe that is has been over a month since I last posted on my wonderful blog! December 6th I posted about the cool surprise we had in store for Emily and that surprise was the whirlwind trip to my happy place, Disney World! Well the trip was amazing and I still plan to post all about it soon, but in the meantime something happened. Life got in the way 🙁 I had such grand plans to post all about the trip, photos and all, during the craziness of the Christmas break, but I just didn’t. It was so nice to have ten full days off with all of my little family, that I guess I just kept pushing it on the back burner. But it was worth it because time with just the four of us is a rare treat, so I took it.
Then I planned to write one of those retrospectives about 2011, but that never happened. I can blame myself for being lazy, but so far 2012 has been a busy and productive year at the Rudge homestead. Work has kept us busy, the return to school as well ( post about bullying soon to follow) and even potty training factors in now. We have been winter cleaning, plus taking advantage of the wonderfully non winter like weather we are having. Just to point out, tomorrow is a high of plus seven!!! So you see it is not just me 🙂
I am very glad of one accomplishment in 2011 and that is starting Maple Mouse Mama and I plan to put more time into her as the year progresses. So, for now I will bid you adieu and say a fond good night cause my bed is calling.
