That is where CampusBookRentals.com comes in. They actually rent out textbooks to students, like you would a car. The benefits of using CampusBookRentals.com include:
-save 40-90% off of bookstore prices-free shipping both ways
-can highlight in the textbooks -largest assortment of titles in the land
-flexible renting periods -live customer support -rentback.com
-we donate to Operation Smile with each textbook
CampusBookRentals.com also has a great new offering called RentBack. This allows people who own their books, and want to keep it that way, to make a little money on the side. You would actually be doing what CampusBookRental.com does and that is you would rent your own book out, but at the end of the day (or rental period) the book is still yours to keep. RentBack can earn you 2 to 4 times as much as selling your book back at the end of the semester would. It is a win-win situation for all!
So this holiday season when your new collage student comes home for the break have a chat with them about their books and suggest CampusBookRental.com as a way to save.
What would you spend all that extra money on?

What a great idea!! Wish this was around when I went to school!!! So many other things to spent money on like parting
I really wish that they had this option available when I was in college.
What a great idea! With a step-daughter in college, I can totally relate. The price of tuition is so much, but all the other costs add up too! Thanks for the great idea!
Renting books is much cheaper since you only use it for a year. It’s nice also that they support a good cause.
I’ve never heard of this and it is a clever idea! However, my concern is… wouldn’t it be illegal to have books rented? Don’t they have copyright? Sorry I had to ask this because I’m actually not aware of laws governing publications, etc.
I guess students will save much renting books rather than buying. I prefer to buy them though specially if I think that I could still use them in the future. I guess there’s nothing wrong in trying this out as some students don’t want books piling up their rooms.
Great idea. Text books were so expensive back when I did my first degree. This year I went back to do some post grad studies online & all the texts we need are online through the uni library. It’s wonderful.
First time to know this rental system of books. Well, it’s good that students can utilize this site.
I remember when I was in college, we have to buy a new one. Most of them are so expensive. Too bad I just heard about this site now. Will reccomend this to others! Thank you!
It will give big savings to students. This is good and helpful too. I just hope the borrowers would take care of the books
That’s a great way to save for books. Back in college and high school, what our professor used to do to save is to photocopy just the essential or needed page off a book and distribute it to us. We just have to pay for the photocopying service.
Renting books is a great idea, my daughter’s high school had a scheme in place for years and it worked a treat. Most students don’t want to keep majority of their book at the end of semester/year anyway (unless they are reference books). It’s a great concept !
I remember how much books used to cost for just one semester. If only there was this option when I was studying! That extra cash would have gone quite far (for my parents!)
Now, if the Philippines have this type of website, maybe students can really use this one instead of resorting themselves to look for their copy in that street known as CM Recto.
Renting a book is a great option. It will definitely help to save.
I was lucky that my father gave me money to buy books. This would have been a good option while I was in college. I could save some money for other school requirements.
This would be awesome if they had it in malaysia. But our syllabus is too diverse for that
what a fab idea! Here in Singapore, we can donate used textbooks which kids who want or need help with books, can avail themselves to. It makes so much sense to recycle these books!
A website to facilitate this exchange is such a fab idea!
This is definitely very useful! I used to borrow the textbooks and photocopy them wholesale! Although it’s illegal to do so, we still do it anyway!
I wish someone thought about this when I was in college. There are certain subjects where I do not really need the textbook anymore after one semester. I would have rented if there was such a thing back then.
I wish a service like this was around when i was in college! Books are so expensive and this ould have helped lessen the costs!
Hey that is a really innovative concept. College books can be really expensive and I would love to try this service out
It’s a great idea; especially for academic books that cost a lot and get tossed out the next semester.
I will definitely be looking into this service!
What a great way to save a few bucks, especially when it something that you will only be using for a period of time! My niece just started college in September and with all the other expenses this would save her!! I will be ppassing this info on to my sister!! Thanks for sharing!
