@CasecoCases Review: For Your Mobile Device

A few years ago I had a run of the mill, old fashioned cell phone and that was only under duress.  I did not want or need the added stress of learning some new fangled contraption and keeping it safe.  Fast forward a couple of years and you will find I am fond of saying, “you can cut off my arm, my left one because I am right handed, but DO NOT take away my iPhone.”  Yup, what a difference a day makes…  I treat my smart phone like she was my third child.  Keep her close by me at all times ( yes, even in the washroom ) and try to protect her from harm.  But that is not always easy..

Recently I was contacted by the good folks at Caseco Products, “a Canadian manufacturer of innovative products designed to enhance mobile phones, tablets and wireless devices.”   I was tickled pink to be asked to check out their  line-up and share my thoughts on some of their wares with you, my lovely readers.  How could I pass up the opportunity to spoil my sweet iPhone. 🙂  Caseco sent me a beautiful pink Shock Express Case for my iPhone 4S with a matching PowerBox Universal- 2600mAh Battery Charger and a second PowerBox in black for my hubby to put to the test.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Shock Express Case is brilliant!  It has a hard, yet flexible outer shell which is great protection from accidental drops or for when your kids decide to toss your phone back after they snuck it away from you, William. The inside of the Shock Express Case has a soft rubber lining that cuddles your smart phone gently, yet snugly.   I love the pink case I was sent, but there are several other great shades to choose from so you can display your personality quite nicely. 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now this was the first time I had heard about a powerbox for a cell phone and I have to say I LOVE the idea of a portable charger.  The PowerBox Universal is no bigger than a cigarette lighter ( you remember those ) and it will fit nicely in your purse or pocket for the on-the-go use it was designed for.  Caseco was kind enough to send two PowerBox Universals so that both my hubby and I could try them out.  Doug is forever texting me while at work that “he has to take his phone to the car to get charged so don’t call or text for awhile.”  He is often on call and moves around a huge plant for his job so he needs a charged phone on his person at all times.  The PowerBox Universal was the answer! Doug need only plug the PowerBox into his phone and stick them both back into his pocket.

I found the PowerBox to be the perfect compliment to my cell.  It comes with a micro USB charging cable and is compatible with most cellphones and tablets.  I plugged it into my computer at bedtime and it was ready to go in the morning ( although it only takes a few hours to charge).  The two red indicator lights on the front show you it is charging.  The 2600mAh Battery Pack is capable of 500 or more charging cycles!  That should last hubby a good long while.

 

 

 

 

Caseco Products are very reasonably priced, stylish and truly “designed for life.”  With the amount of money you spend on your smart phone don’t you want to protect it and have the convenience of on-the-go charging?
