In our electronic world more and more people are purchasing home monitoring cameras for indoor and outdoor use. Many nannies, home daycare providers and even day care centers purchase these and use them to let parents see what is happening when they are not there. Not only do they get to make sure their kiddo is safe, they also get to see all the fun they are having; making leaving the little one easier each day.
Recently, I was sent the Logitech Circle Home Connection Camera and wow, does it ever have a lot of uses! Have you ever had any mysteries in your own house? What about who ate the last cookie? It’s always “not me” around here. What about pets? Sometimes knowing what the cat or dog are doing when you aren’t there can help keep them and your possessions safe. Or what about those kids, they can be so tricky. 🙂 We have a lot of mysteries around here involving the kiddos.
This camera is a tiny compact size, which I love, because it fits anywhere you want to put it: bookshelf, end table, or hidden somewhere to capture any capers and of course it is so quiet you forget it’s there. The camera pivots and is rechargeable, it also detects sound and motion to capture “moments” for a quick peek. You never know what you might capture. As long as you have your smartphone you can view Day Briefs of moments happening at home whenever you want on the Circle app.
Check this out: we decided to put our Circle in the den at first to see how it worked. That is how we caught this hilarious video of our son hiding his back pack so he didn’t have to go to school!!
Some of the other features we appreciated were that you can move the camera from room to room wherever and whenever you need to. It also has night vision so you can see if the kids are sneaking out in the night or what the pets get into while you are sleeping.
The one thing I love, love, love is the Circle app for your phone! Once downloaded it allows you to see what is going on even when you are not at home! If you have teens or older kids that stay home alone or watch the younger ones, you can check in at any time no matter where you are! This is my favourite feature by far. You can save photos from the camera and video, so if you have a funny story like ours, you can capture it. My husband has taken to “checking in” when he is at work by talking to us through the app, directly into our home! It is pretty cool what you can do with the Circle.
As you can see we have had a lot of fun with this camera. With the many useful and dare I say creative ways for the Logitech Circle Home Connection Camera to be used, you can bet we will have this baby for a long time to come.

Loved the video :-). I remember one of my sons at about 6 yrs old hiding behind the shed when he was supposed to be on his way to school. I caught on when he came home after about 40 mins thinking school must be over. 🙂

This is great to watch while you are working, and also on vacation, to make sure everything is safe.

This is a great cam for working parents who cannot attend to their kids at home. Things can get eerie though when you get to discover something scary happening on the background (like ghosts appearing suddenly). 🙂
I’d love to see what my cat is up to when I’m gone. And to see daddy playing with baby if I have to work late :).
I also have a friend who has a similar app on her phone. She loves checking it when she’s not at home. She caught her nanny in the act going through her other things! Gadgets like this are also for security purposes and they are convenient now that they can be connected to mobile phones. I can also connect my digital cam through my phone and control it using the mobile app.
We already have CCTV at home, but would love something I can use as a baby monitor for the kids too. Something wireless and discreet.

The logitech circle cam can really be a great security device and more affordable too. You can have peace of mind even away from home as you can easily check on the house with your phone.

Nice interesting gadget here for security and for communication. It may also be for entertainment and memories. Will check this one out some more.
This kind of Technology was the selling point for my son and his wife when they were choosing a daycare for their daughter. Now they can check in anytime they want through an app on their phone, and it’s very awesome.
This is great especially for those who has elderly, kids and domestic helper at home. We can monitor their movement.

this one is a great security camera. these days you could not be lenient with our society. there are bad elements out there. good thing we have now this kind of technology to aid us in surveillance.
I had a baby monitor that allowed me to look into my house. Now that my daughter is older I use it to look in on my pets, especially my dogs. This camera would be perfect for that. 🙂

I too have installed cam at my home so that can monitor what’s going on when we are in the office. The quality of your cam is very good. Clarity is superb.
Good when you leave small kids at home under nanny or helper, so you can just have a check to see everything under control.

love to see what our indoor cats do while we are away! or even overnight as we sleep..all sorts of things are piled in the livingroom or in front of our bed..seems one of them loves our flipflops alot and hair ties…
