Fall is my absolute favourite time of the year. I love the cooler temps, I enjoy wearing cozy socks and sweaters, I love the smell of a crackling fire and the crunch of the fallen leaves underfoot. There is beauty everywhere you look, whether it is in the vibrant shades of orange you find in the trees or the rusty reds in the apple orchards. Smells leap out of the ground in the form of pumpkins and pies, oh my! š Ā There is literally nothing bad I can say about Autumn.
Thanksgiving is fast approaching and one thing I look forward to is visiting family in the northern part of Ontario. I bring a book for after dinner and love to curl up under a blanket on the deck and read. There is never a mug of tea or apple cider far from my side.
