This is the first colour I started planning for when I learned of the topic for the latest Destination Disney Meme. Blue is an easy one for many reasons and it just so happens to be my daughter Emily’s favorite colour. As you can imagine, she had a hand in the photos I chose. 🙂 So, without further ado, I present Destination Disney In Colour: Blue.
Disney Blue Movie
Now, don’t start thinking nasty thoughts. 🙂 My choice for a Blue Disney movie had to be Cinderella. No room for argument on this one . I can actually combine a few things here to lessen the load on the photo ops here. Cinderella is also Emily’s favorite Princess and overall favorite character as you can see. 🙂
This float appears in the Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade (or something like that) in the Animal Kingdom at Christmas! All the colours are so vibrant, but Blue really stands out!
How could I not include Mickey’s giant sorcerer hat in this category? It is pretty darn Blue!
Love me some breaky at Ohana’s and equally love to see Master Stitch.
The lovely Castle can be so many shades, but the Blue turrents really stand out against the Blue sky!
I just adore this photo of a certain little princess getting ready for the ball. Blue eyeshadow is always in. 🙂
Of all places to spot Blue. This is the Cast Member in the China Pavilion, Epcot, covering the Kidcot station. He was so sweet. 🙂
Emily had a blast getting her face painted at the African Outpost in the World Showcase at Epcot. So pretty!
A bright Blue sign begs to tell you…..
I love to look at miniatures, especially when they are done well. Isn’t this Ferris Wheel at the Grand Floridian just beautiful?
A little gift for the boss? What could be inside this Blue box, I wonder?
I just love the larger than life icons at the Pop Century Resort, especially this giant Yo-Yo! What is your favorite icon at the Pop?
This House of Blues sign really stands out against the night sky in Downtown Disney..
The Boardwalk is the place to be and I can guarantee you will not be Blue there. 🙂
Hair Wrap station in Downtown Disney. Emily and I got matching wraps done in December 2011. She had been wanting one since 2006, but her hair was never long enough or other things prevented us. It was fun to do and they lasted two months!
Two sweet princesses, in their commoner wear. 🙂 Truth be told I prefer Belle in her Blue dress. Don’t you agree?
I could go on, but will end here with this beautiful Blue parasol from Japan.
How did I do? Did I make you feel Blue? The only thing about Disney that makes me Blue is leaving it. Hope you enjoyed my take on Destination Disney In Colour this week. There are still a few hues of the rainbow we have not touched on so stay tuned and be sure to check out some other great photos via Heidi’s Head!

I can’t believe how much work you’ve done to find pictures with blue in them. My favorite picture is the one with your daughters face painted, she looks beautiful
