So this begins a new journey with Heidi’s Head for me. A chapter of Destination Disney, although I am a bit behind, again. However, not to dwell. Heidi’s new subject for Destination Disney is pretty cool, but at first I was like, huh? However, I have since spread my creative wings, enlisted the help of my hubby and daughter and started a list for the weeks to come. Oh, by the way, did I mention the new topic for Destination Disney is colour? That is right. Thirteen weeks of Destination Disney In Colour!!! This week the colour choice is RED!
I decided to start each week off with a Disney movie that brought the colour of choice to mind and then work from there. I am also going to try something new for me; less talk. 🙂 Maybe I will get my posts done on time and actually be on the same week as everyone else. 🙂 So, without further ado, I present to you…..
Disney in Red
The Little Mermaid movie is red to me all thanks to Ariel’s beautiful hair. If her voice were to be a colour it would be something different, but this movie was the first to pop into my head.
Christmas time at Disney and the beautiful decorations. There are so many, all so unique. One of my favorites are these neat “Minnie’s” found dancing in Hollywood Studios. I also love this wreath with a tiny Donald Duck on it. This was in the Grand Floridian.
This is another Christmas theme also from Hollywood Studios. The Osborne Lights are on fire with different colours, but this is definitely red!
Shopping in the China pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. Tons of red here, although my paparazzi skills need some work to bring that out. 🙁
My daughter Emily showcasing her Canadian pride. You go girl!!
A rose from a Prince and Princess for a very lucky little lady, who just happens to be my niece. 🙂 Love Beauty and the Beast.
The result of a very fun morning spent in a chair at the Pirate’s League, in the Magic Kingdom. This was a riot. 🙂
Minnie’s Float in the Animal Kingdom “Mickey’s Jingle Jungle Parade”.
My son’s favorite vehicle, Lightening McQueen from Cars!
So there you have it, Disney in Red. Do you agree with my choices? What brings the colour of red to your mind when you think “Disney“? Share your thoughts in the comments section below or better yet, a picture! Then drop by Heidi’s Head to check out some other great posts about Colour in Disney. Great Blog! My mind is racing thinking of what your color choices and pictures will be next! But I have to add Mickey and Minnie’s new theater home. With their outfits or course being RED, and the stage curtains being Red, it is an obvious choice for me!
I have a great pic, but I’m not figuring out how to attach in the comment!
