Ever since the dawn of the DVD player I have watched a lot more movies…. in my car! Having this thing has it’s pros and it’s cons, but a definite pro for me is getting to watch, well actually getting to listen to my favorite Disney movies, over and over again. As the seasons change so does the movie and the one on instant replay right now is “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.” The length of the various shows are perfect for the drives we take, whether they are long or short. We used to take the portable DVD player with us for long trips, but these days the kids are tuned into their iPods. I remember one particularly long trip (several hours in the car), where we had the pleasure of listening to The Aristocats and Finding Nemo and as much as I love Disney, it did start to grate on my nerves after a while. It’s one thing to watch a Disney movie and quite another to just listen to them over and over lol.
My favourite Disney Christmas movie is Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas, I love the songs!

LOL I can definitely relate Sam 🙂 I can handle the listening for one movie, but not two. The last one I listened to was Toy Story 3 and it still managed to get my all emotional even without actually watching it, LOL.

My son loves to watch disney movies in the car. His favorite one to watch is Disney Pixar Cars 2. I found myself following the movie as well because I can’t help but to hear the movie. The both of quote the actors lines in the car as we watch the movie, because we watch the same movie every time we get in the car.

I think this may be the only Disney movie we do not have and we will be getting this year! They make so many wonderful movies my kids and I love I can’t wait to get this one! We do not have anything to watch it on in the car but maybe Santa can bring us one! 🙂

I think this will have to be one of the movies that we show my toddler this year. He is just starting to follow along and understand what he is watching. He loves his Mickey that Grandma gave him… so I’m sure he will pay attention to the whole thing!
