As lovers of all things magical I knew my family would adore Disney’s The Pirate Fairy and I was not wrong. The latest adventure for Tinker Bell and her Fairy peeps introduces us to Zarina, an overzealous Dust Keeper Fairy with a keen interest in Blue Dust. When Zarina is banished from being a Dust Keeper due to her inquisitive nature and the resulting mayhem, she leaves Pixie Hollow with a heavy heart, only to return for something very precious.
In The Pirate Fairy Tinker Bell and her fairy friends set off on a new adventure to save Zarina and the life blood of fairies! During this daring rescue the fairies have their talents switched and band together to fight off pirates! It is a riot to see how these precious little pixie dusters learn to use a new talent, especially Rosetta with her newfound “attraction” to bugs. I giggled many times during this movie and you will to!

“Surprise” cast members will have Tink fans saying “Oh I know who that is!!!” when two familiar faces appear. And make sure you watch all the way to the end, even past some credits, for another surprise.
Don’t forget to check out the extras in this Blu-Ray combo pack of The Pirate Fairy, which hits the store shelves on April 1st! Don’t be fooled, this is not a joke. 🙂 There is a great Sing-Along, including the making of “The Frigate That Flies” which will have your little ones dancing in the hall. I know mine did. 🙂 And don’t despair Tinker Bell fans, there is another Tink movie in the works called “Legend of the NeverBeast” and it is set for release in Spring 2015.
Of all the Tink movies thus far, which is your most favorite? I love them all, but my favorite is “Secret of the Wings.”
