It’s no secret just how much I love Walt Disney World and Mickey Mouse and pretty much anything related to these two subjects. I wEAR my EARs with unabashed pride. ♥ When I first started blogging back in 2011 I knew I would write about Disney, among many other things, so I wanted my name, my nom de plume, to have some kind of reference to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Being a proud mom and Canadian also seemed like a great element to showcase and so, MapleMouseMama was born.
Over the yEARs I have expanded my Disney knowledge from various trips and just a desire to know as much about the place Where Dreams Come True as I can. Some of that has spilled onto my blog, while much more resides in my head and in my hEARt. (Okay, I’ll stop that now.. ) But one thing that has continued to grow is my love for social media and seeing how well Disney has harnessed this powerful tool. Social Media is only getting bigger and better and Disney is one brand that can be counted on to lead the way. I am so happy and honoured, to be a part of that. ♥
Like many of my counterparts in the blogosphere, I have attended a conference or two, but there was one in particular that captured my attention from the get-go. Even before the get-go happened. For the past six years I have longed to receive the coveted invitation to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, held every Spring around Mother’s Day. Out of the now past seven events, all but one has been hosted at Walt Disney World in Florida. As I revealed in another Wordless Wednesday post, year seven was my lucky number because yours truly was invited! ♥
In true MapleMouseMama Wordless Wednesday style, you can see that this post is anything but; however, I wanted to share a few photos from that magical long weekend that convey just how wonderfully dream like my recent trip to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration was. And my loquacious style would never allow for a humble introduction.
My family was very fortunate to have some help with making ourselves look presentable while at DSMMC. Thank you to #TheShoeCompany, #Penningtons and #MarksCanada for the fashionable duds! I will share more about them down the road.
Tell me, what do you dream of achieving some day?
