I am not sure if the groundhog saw his shadow this year or not, but I do know that Spring will be a welcome reprieve from the crazy winter weather we have had this year. One way to pass the time until then is to plan, prepare and get excited for the season of rebirth by visiting the Canada Blooms festival! I may not have a green thumb, or the desire to acquire one, but I do appreciate a well planned garden of gorgeous flowers and greenery. At Canada Blooms you will get your fill of creatively designed gardens that will inspire you to start your own or grow the one you already have.
This year is extra special because Canada Blooms, which runs from March 11th to March 20th at the EnerCare Centre in Toronto, Ontario, is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary! You will not want to miss seeing how the garden designers and builders interpret the festival theme It’s A Party! There will be acres of fantasy gardens showcasing the talents of many floral superstars from all over the world. You know they will be putting their best dirt covered foot forward as they compete to win the festival’s coveted awards.
The Toronto Flower Show is not to be outdone! Led by the Garden Club of Toronto you will enjoy competitions among amateur floral arrangers and garden club members at Canada Blooms! Non-professional exhibitors and members of horticultural societies and garden clubs enter the classes, competing in horticulture special exhibits, floral design, and photography. The theme is Life is a Celebration! You will not want to miss out on the vibrant colours, alluring fragrances and captivating designs that will overtake your senses at Canada Blooms.
