Let’s face it, Disney had a blockbuster hit on their hands when Frozen hit theatres late last fall. Girls and boys of all ages love Frozen, including this big kid right here.
Heck I created a whole birthday party for both my kids this past February based on that fabulous film! It takes a lot to get me making and baking stuff and Frozen accomplished that. Disney Parks has taken the magic of Frozen one step further this summer. Starting July 5th Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Disney World will turn into a popsicle until September 1st! It will be as if Queen Elsa herself blew into town…
Frozen Summer Fun at Disney has a huge line up of amazing events to watch and participate in. They include:
- Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome: Watch Anna and Elsa as they embark on a goodwill tour of neighboring kingdoms. The royal sisters are joined by Kristoff, the ice cutters and the happy citizens of Arendelle who skate and snow ski their way through the procession. The magic culminates in an enticing moment at the Sorcerer’s Hat Icon Stage to officially welcome Frozen to the kingdom of Hollywoodland!
- For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration: Join Anna, Elsa and the newly-appointed royal historians of Arendelle in the Premiere Theater to enjoy For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Musical Celebration. Laugh and sing along while enjoying this humorous and heart-warming retelling of the kingdom’s history.
- Oaken’s Frozen Funland: Blow into Soundstage One to see how Oaken and his closest cousins have been creating winter magic! Frozen festivities include ice skating and snowman building!
- Frozen Fireworks Spectacular: At the end of a fun-filled Frozen day, Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf come together at the Sorcerer’s Hat Icon Stage for a grand finale—complete with an awe-inspiring fireworks display set to the glorious music of the movie.
- Olaf on Summer Vacation: Throughout the day, Olaf will share updates from his summer adventures at the Sorcerer’s Hat Icon Stage. Pick up your very own take-a-long Olaf so he can join you on your summer vacation. Be sure to tag your pictures #OlafSummerVacation and they just might be shared in the day’s grand finale!
- Coolest Summer Ever Dance Party: Rock out to a medley of the hottest Frozen hits! Every evening starting at 5:30 PM, a dance party with a DJ and live band breaks out over Sorcerer’s Hat Icon Stage.
- Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post (Merchandise): Strap on your snowshoes and adventure to the Soundstage One for a wonderland of Frozen merchandise, food and beverage offerings. Don’t miss out on this big summer “blowout”!
The Frozen Summer Fun Premium Package offers reserved Guest experiences for Anna’s and Elsa’s Royal Welcome, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration and a exclusive nighttime dessert party in a special area for the Frozen Fireworks Spectacular. The cost, while not cheap, will be worth the memories. Tickets are $59 US for adults and $34 US for children. You will still need to have a ticket for Disney’s Hollywood Studios itself.
If I could only do one of the great experiences being offered in the Frozen Summer of Fun I think it would be the For The First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration. After all I know the soundtrack by heart, LOL. My only hope is that this amazing Frozen Summer of Fun becomes such a hit with Disney fans that they decide to keep it around all year.
What Frozen Summer of Fun experience would you like to attend?

Despite all the fanfare it’s gotten, I still haven’t gotten around to watching Frozen. Now that I’m on vacation for a couple of weeks, perhaps I’ll make the time. My little guy’s only 8 months so I don’t think he’s yet at the age to fully appreciate it, but, as usual Suzanne, you know your Disney stuff
Why thank you very much Casey
Yes, you must watch it and hold your son while doing so. He will pick up on the happy vibe of the wonderful music, I promise
I haven’t even seen the movie and now I am feeling guilty! I guess I better rent it! The one big song from Frozen that I want to get the words to is “Let It Go!, I know all five year olds know it so I better hop to it.
Yes, you will love it Mom!
I haven’t seen the movie but I am sure that I will one day since I have a little one. By its popularity, it must be something really special.
I think that I would like Anna and Elsa’s Royal Welcome the best.
It really is a very special movie Maggie, one that adults love as much as kiddos
My granddaughters love all things FROZEN
Us too Darlene
My girls are in love with Frozen too, even my son sings the Let it Go song (he’s 3) This sounds like a FUN place to be for a Frozen fan.
My son loves to sing along as well, LOL and he is pretty good at it to boot!
My grandson loves this movie. I thought it was a good movie too.
Totally a favorite of ours <3
I have yet to see the movie but my niece, Norah, is obsessed with Frozen!!! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for stopping in!
The kids sure love this movie, I just saw a little girl belting out the Let it Go song on a Youtube video. It was so cute. I think Disney has done it again and this movie will be a classic.
They sure have Trish, it is huge!

My kids would love all these events especially the sing along!

Frozen is not only a great kids’ movie…some grandmothers like it too…such as “me”!

These all sounds great, I would like to do the premium package. I FINALLY got the movie. It has been sold out in my town for months so when my mother went to Calgary last week, I had her pick me up a copy.
Good pick Randa and yayy for your mom. Don’t you just love the movie!

It’s amazing how popular Frozen became after the movie released, kids of all genders and people of all ages have grown to love the movie.
The craze is well, crazy!
These events sound so great. I wish I was heading to Disney World this summer. My kids would go nuts! Frozen is the best!
Me too Ladena, I am sure it is going to be incredible!
Ahh. I love Frozen as much as my girls do. I wish we were at Disney! So many fun things to do.
It is going to be a great summer there!
Personally, I have had enough of Frozen. I think that my grand daughters have watched the movie so many times, that the DVD is just about worn through ( I wish ;-), but oh what a kick they would get out of it! We used to live just 45 minutes from the entrance to Disney World, and have spent many a day enjoying the parks.
LOL, I hear ya Libby. We can recite the show by heart now
I don’t mind watching this movie again and again! WOW! Those events sound awesome!
Me too Veronica, and yes the events are incredible!
My mother in law bought Frozen for us all to watch, and I still haven’t seen it. I think my son would probably actually watch at least parts of it- he’s 3- so we really should do that. All of my friends love it. Perhaps I’m missing out. lol
You are Claire, you are! You must watch it and I think your little guy would enjoy it, especially Olaf. He is my son’s favorite
All my grandkids know the words to the songs & play the characters all the time
It must be good
It really is Suzie, just a wonderful movie!

We love it too <3
My two granddaughters still love Frozen and no I haven’t seen it. I must admit hearing the songs again and again is enough for me
