We have lived in our home for many years. Many more than I thought we would and this means things like our furniture and carpet have been through a lot. After two children, one of whom was a frequent projectile vomitter, and the what-seems-like daily spills that have occurred in our living room and yes, even the bedrooms, our carpets have had it. My husband likes to joke that when we finally replace it there will be enough fodder in it to feed every animal in the Toronto Zoo for an entire year. Sadly, he is not joking. 🙁
Replacing our carpet with the much desired hard wood has not been in the budget so what is a girl to do? We do to our carpets what we do to the rest of our home’s floors: we vacuum, scrub, sweep, wash and clean them. Over and over and over again. This sounds like a wonderful machine, can it be used to clean windows too? My daughter has something that is a steam cleaner for her windows and swears by it. I, unfortunately, have mainly carpets in my place so this would come in very handy for cleaning those. Does it work on cork flooring too?
