Tech talk is not typically my forte, but when given the chance to share the HUAWEI MediaPad T5 with my readers I was thrilled! I may not know a lot about internal storage and processors, but I do know what works for families. We have had a variety of tech in this house for many years so I know what my kiddos, husband and I look for when it comes to finding a gadget that we can all use and enjoy.
What We Look For In A Family Friendly Tablet
Finding the right device for a family means first determining what you want it to have. When you have two adults, one teenager and a ten year old, everyone’s wants and needs will be different. The youngest wants to be able to play games, the teen is interested in doing schoolwork on the go, my husband is concerned with speed and storage and I would like a tablet I can hold comfortably when reading as well as safely store files. The HUAWEI MediaPad T5 ticks all of those boxes for us.

I love my Huawei P20 Pro phone and this tablet looks awesome! If I honestly consider how it will be used most, I would like to say for my home business but let’s be real, it will be used by my 5 yr old most.
I would use this to keep in touch with my family and they can send photos of the grandkids. I’d also use it for when I’m on the go and need to do emails and other fun things like reading blogs and entering contest like this one. Also to play my favorite solitaire game on social media. It also will let me stay in touch with my class mates back home and trade photo and posts of things we are now doing with family and friends.
Since there’s a PIN-protected setting for the kids, I’m most likely to use it for my kid’s learning and playing.

Wow it looks perfect for me! I would use it in place of my laptop which is not working well at the moment! I live with my computer guru and would think my laptop would not have issues but it’s got them alright! My iPhone 8 is problematic as well! Probably the worse of series. It’s my second because the first one just got really hot and went dark lol this on is the replacement and it’s starting to get and service is ridiculously slow even on my 3000 extra fast wifi! Yesterday day I had a speed of 16.3! Crazy slow! However stuck in my plan until March! Love the Blog on “15 Healthy Nut-Free Snacks That Are Perfect For The Lunchbox!”. I know my son and his wife, as do I, with the grandkids, struggle to make alternative foods for their lunches that are nut-free. They have a few kids in their school who can’t have nuts of any kind. Great ideas here.
