The must have look of the season is here: make-up by One Direction! The hottest boy band in the world has created a line of premiere cosmetics for their fans and we are thrilled to share with you one of the limited edition sets from The Looks Collection! You can imagine the look of sheer joy on Emily’s face when I told her she would get to check out make-up by One Direction! She was thrilled!
When the package arrived I was pleased to see the sweet collector’s tin the make-up by One Direction was housed in. The three sets that will be available include “Midnight Memories”, “Up All Night” and “Take Me Home”, which is the one we received. As any One Direction fan will tell you these are the names of three of the bands most popular albums! Clever, huh? The creativity doesn’t stop there. Each of the items in the cosmetic kit is aptly named after the bands’ songs.
The “Take Me Home” collection contains a nice array of items. The focal point is the eye shadow pallet with a generous five colours to create several unique looks. The earth tones can be displayed on their own or highlighted with the gold sparkle eye powder. Each glide on smoothly and provide good coverage for your lids.
It is obvious that the eyes are the center of attention with make-up by One Direction. The “Take Me Home” collection includes “Little Black Dress” mascara and a chubby eye and body pencil. The pencil comes with stencils that any Directioner would recognize as being tattoos the band members themselves have! Even my young son wanted to try out one of these.
The lips are also taken care of in this youthful collection of cosmetics. Both the Liquilights Glow Gloss, appropriately named “Kiss You” and the sleek and soft nude-pink sheer lipstick (“Last First Kiss”) go on smoothly and provide lasting coverage. I know this was a while a go but your video is really cute. I can’t believe a group of 5 straight guys has a line of cosmetics. I guess they put their name on anything. There’s no way you would have ever seen the bands from the 60’s 70’s or even the 80’s that would have put out a line of cosmetics. Could you see the Beatles or Rolling Stones or Bon Jovi doing that, not in a million or for a million. Wait I know someone from the 80’s that would’ve, Boy George ! lol haha I guess the times have definitely changed, and now I feel really old !!!!!!
