Hello! I come from a very small family, and married into a rather large one (ie. lots of people and noisy). While getting together with family is nice, I really cherish the quiet times I get with my hubby during the holidays. We get together Christmas morning and open presents. Later we have a lovely dinner. In between we play with the kids and their new toys.
I start my celebration by decorating my house. Every year I make a plan and move according to my plan, so that I can decorate my house step by step. On Christmas eve I exchange gifts with my family and friends, we have dinner together and spend quality time with each other.

After Christmas dinner we go and look at the Festival of Northern Lights in our city.

What a great day to get things done and relax with hubby.
We always gather as a family on Christmas and eat breakfast of baked french toast , play games or decorate cookies, open presents, and enjoy each others company.

I am, however, thinking of starting a collection of Christmas items like Byers Choice figurines, since we had been talking about replacing the decorations that we had lost through a couple of moves.
