As the expression goes, laughter is contagious – or is it something else? 😉 Oh wait, laughter is the best medicine, haha! Well, whatever it is, being happy, especially right now, is something we should all want to catch, even for a few minutes. I have to thank my fellow blogger Mitch, from Gay NYC Dad, for inspiring me to share a post of my favourite funnies or corona-influenced memes. There are tons floating around out there and these are some of the ones I have hooted over.
I also wanted to share that my title was semi-inspired by this quote, “There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor.”- Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol. During this crazy time of self-isolation, quarantines and social distancing, many people are just trying to keep their bodies and minds busy. Spend some time reading or catching up on old favourite movies that give you some pause. Your brain will thank you for the workout. 🙂
Laughter Is Contagious!

I have posted these memes as they have been distributed all over the world. Some have a name on them for credit and others don’t. This is not meant to be me stealing someone’s intellectual property. I just wanted to share the fun. Please know that I am in no way making fun of this horrible disease that has placed our world in a strange and precarious position. I am simply trying to find the lighter side of life and share it with everyone. Stay home, stay healthy and stay safe, my friends. God bless us all. ♥
What are you doing at home to try and keep the mood light during our time of self-isolation?

Laughter is really helpful these day. I am like the garbage day one. I was preparing for the big day to get out and we had a snow and rain storm and garbage pickup got cancelled.

The memes make me laugh too. I’ve saved a few because they are so good. We’re finally getting some nice weather so we’ve been outside a lot. The rest of the snow should melt in the next day or so. Reading helps a lot too.

I love the Disney memes right now, meant to be there but looking on the bright side and the disney giggles help. I love the best one where he holds the toilet paper and says Belle cant go in that room. Laughter and smiles really makes everything that much better.

We all need laughter, before you could just smile and the other person would smile back, now you have to smile with your eyes.

I love this post! Yes, laughter is the best medicine. It’s definitely trying times, and it’s too easy to get bogged down with the doom and gloom all around us. I find that I crave laughter (BBC comedies) work well to ground me.
