Summer is almost here (okay, wishful thinking with all this snow, but..) and there is no time like the present to start planning what you need to make it a great one! If your kiddos are anything like mine they will be itching to head to the local pool or beach for some swim time. Or maybe you have a child or two who takes swimming lessons throughout the year. Either way, it is always smart to have some good equipment on hand to make the experience enjoyable. One such item that we find indispensable is a good pair of goggles.
My kids have been taking swimming lessons since they were very young and they love the water. The problem with pools is the chlorine that is used to keep the water somewhat clean. We all end up with itchy, red eyes after a swim, if goggles are not used so we always stock up on them. The problem is this: goggles have a way of getting lost, slipping off in the pool or conveniently being left behind because they are uncomfortable to wear. I get it. I really do. I am not a fan of wearing goggles, but it is very necessary for the kids, especially when taking lessons.
Recently we had the chance to check out some new goggles, ones that even my kids would love. Frogglez® Goggles are amazing! They won’t slip and slide; they stay put. These revolutionary, comfy and stylish goggles are also perfect for holiday travel plans, since they’re easy to take everywhere. Frogglez® Goggles are guaranteed to be:
- Latex-Free
- Phthalates-Free
- Lead-Free
- Formaldehyde-Free
- Hassle-Free
- Continuously Tested
- AND, THEY FLOAT!
When swim lesson became more about trying to keep goggles on than actually swimming, a dad decided he needed to help. Christian Hahn’s 4-year-old daughter was struggling like everyone else, trying to make her goggles comfortable. Normal goggles pull out hair, create that Dumbo ear look, push on eyes, and water can seep into them as kids splash around. It took the fun out of watching his daughter learn to swim. So Christian went straight to his basement that night and cut up some old wet suits from his surfer days in California to create goggles that would stay on without the stress. The prototypes worked so well that other parents asked him where they could buy a pair. That’s how Frogglez® Goggles, Made by my Dad™ was born.
Aside from the great features that you get with every pair of Frogglez Goggles, they come in a range of cute colours to make any kiddo happy. My son loved his new pair, found them to be super comfy and best of all his friends want them now too, LOL. Now we just need a new swim suit and we are good to go!
Do you prefer to wear goggles when you swim or no?

Thanks for the introduction, they are really cute with a selection of colours to please any child.
I think I need to get a hold of a pair for my girl!
I think these are a very good idea. I personally don’t wear goggles when swimming but there again, I can’t remember the last time I went for a swim. 🙂
I love the design of these and they are perfect for the kids, so much better than the other ones, I could never get them on the girls properly and the rubber strap would pull their hair, to bad these weren’t around when my girls were younger!!
I prefer no goggle but my granddaughter would love a pair. They are cute and wont get tangle in her hair.
These are so great! I tried to find goggles for my daughter last year and was even willing to put up with something that “kind of” worked! I found nothing. I’m so happy to find these! Thanks!!!
Pretty cute! I’ll keep this in mind when I have kids!
What a great idea!!! I notice when my son wears his regular goggles they are always sliding down and folding his ears down and I keep thinking how uncomfortable that must be for him! These would totally solve that problem!
a new concept on water goggles that seems to work well
My grandson has a pair and he loves them !
I love these designs they are super cute!
