One of the things I love about this time of the year is comparing my kiddos photos from Christmases past. I can see how much they have grown, and hopefully matured. 😉 Snapping a quick photo on my iPhone makes it easy to capture those memories, but a new app has helped up my game. The OneDay Instant Movie Maker app is the best thing I have come across this season, and that includes a 70% off sale at Coach. (Okay, I am kidding about the sale, but still..)
The OneDay app, which you can download for FREE, helps you to take those ordinary moments and make them extraordinary! The app provides prompts in the form of questions so you are basically interviewing your child (or spouse, or friend or whomever you want to immortalize on film). The OneDay app will set your child’s answers to music and stitch it all together to create a one of a kind movie you can keep forever. It helps you tell your child’s story, one day at a time. (I just love that line. ♥) Trust me, you are going to love OneDay.
Now, my kids and I have been playing around with the app and I wanted to share some outtakes with you. I also want to challenge you to download the OneDay app today and get started making your own memorable movies. Once you start I guarantee you won’t be stopping. 🙂
So, what do you think? Pretty cool, huh? And it is easy to use too. Within seconds of downloading the FREE app to your phone you will be able to start shooting your first video. My kiddos were clamoring to try it out for themselves as soon as they saw how much fun it was. They can’t wait to get their dad and I in the hot seat. 🙂
Now even though the awesomeness that is the OneDay app is more then enough to put a smile on your face, I have a little bit more to add. Drumroll please…….. A Giveaway! To help out with those holiday shopping bills a group of amazing bloggers are giving away a $150 Visa Gift Card! This giveaway is open to Canada and the US and you just need to follow the Rafflecopter below to enter. Good luck!

Our family of 5 kids, 1 grandchild with 1 one the way get together and we order Chinese Food (yay no cooking) and put on silly paper hats and then we chill with my daughter’s famous Nanaimo bar recipe and watch old videos of the kids (yes VHS tapes). It is a lot of fun and it makes my day, my family 🙂

I have to start getting better at taking holiday shots. I always think I’ll get them later in the day or it’s no big deal since our Christmases are quiet but its so fun to look back and remember things over the years.
MapleMouseMama says
I have always felt that way Vanessa, but time is fleeting. Thank goodness the digital age has made picturing so much easier!
