Maplelea Friend Zoey is Ready for Winter!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The wonderful thing about Maplelea Girls, Maplelea Friends and Avonlea Traditions is that they “get” what being a young lady growing up in Canada is all about.  Right now that “all about” is about winter!!  And the cold weather!  And the need to bundle up!  Zoey is one hundred percent ready in her beautiful red coat, boots and beret!  Doesn’t she look smart?  Your princess can dress up her special Maplelea Friend and take her outside with her knowing she is warm and snugly, just like she is.  This great outfit is just another wonderful item offered by Maplelea Girls that any of their dolls can wear.  Easy to put on and enjoy and easy to take care of.  Even the boots have Velcro on them, LOL!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maplelea has clothes for any season, but I was happily surprised to see they even have snow gear for their girls.  Yup, snow gear!  Snowsuits, boots, vests, hats, scarves, mitts, it’s all there.  Even sports equipment, like hockey and skates!  Your Canadian princess will feel so special when her new friend can fit right in at the rink for practice.  And it doesn’t stop with winter sports.  If you have a soccer player your Maplelea Friend doesn’t have to sit on the sidelines and just watch.  She can play to!  How about gymnastics or horseback riding?  Your girl is covered with a wide range of sports to share with her friend.  Isn’t nice to see a toy company promote a healthy and active life style in such a manner?  Your princess will not feel pressured to be a certain way, but rather to celebrate what makes her unique!  Her Maplelea Friend can offer that kind of support.  I often hear Emily chatting with Taryn about their similarities and I can sense the comfort this brings her. 🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure to check out Saila.  This beautiful doll hails from Nunavut and her clothes are authentic to her heritage and to her community.  Several of her traditional pieces are even made in Nunavut so that Maplelea Girls can be true to the original design.  Not only is Avonlea Traditions showcasing yet another part of Canada’s diversity, but they are supporting a community by providing jobs.  Way too go Avonlea Traditions!!   Maplelea Girls does not leave out any detail.  Saila’s journal actually comes in three languages; English, French and Inuktitut, her native tongue.  Your princess will never know she is having a language lesson while playing. 🙂  How cool is that?
