Okay, so I know that 2012 is more over than not, but a defeatist attitude is a poor attitude so I am choosing to remain positive! I have been thinking lately of the things I had hoped to accomplish by now and how many of them I have not. I need a kick in the butt to motivate me and get going and this somewhat public confession can only help, right? 🙂 We shall see. Maybe this can work as a sort of checklist of sorts, that I can keep in the forefront of my mind. Kind of like posting a photo of yourself on the fridge while you are dieting. Something has to work. These are in no particular order of importance. They are all important. There are not many, cause as mentioned there is not much time left on the 2012 calendar. 🙂 Here goes;
1) Lose 25 pounds by Christmas. Smaller goals are easier to reach and maintain, even if there is a much larger picture to be viewed and yes, by larger picture I mean my butt. 🙂
2) Be chosen for the 2013 Walt Disney World Moms Panel. This is truly my heart’s desire and has been for five years now. Pixie dust please!
3) Write 100 posts for my blog. I am almost there, about three quarters of the way. I love to write on my blog, but just have not had the time lately, so push meet shove.
4) Maintain the will to keep growing my hair. Sounds silly, but I have kept my hair short for a long time now because I have never been fussed on how long hair looks and feels on me. I want a change though and this might be what I need. I have made it through most of the yucky part of summer where you have to pull your hair up or pass out from sweating so hopefully the cooler temps of fall will keep me going. 🙂
5) Have at least two date nights with my husband so we can refresh our marriage. I can not remember the last time we had a date. I miss having that connection and it is about time we made that a priority.
6) Organize our basement storage room. Oh I so want to do this one and stick to it! Such potential for that space if only the crap was out of there. 🙂
7) Move the treadmill out of the garage and into the basement storage room and then USE it!
8) Stop drinking coffee. I currently drink a coffee with double cream and double sugar. That has to change. I spend about ten dollars a week at work on coffee. Think of the Disney money I could be saving if I could just give that up…
9) Not over spend on Christmas and really cut back on the toys and junk the kids get.
Okay, so much for a small list, but I think, no I KNOW these are ALL obtainable and yes by the end of 2012! Wish me luck!

It’s been a few years but I wondered how many you did and stuck to it
