My Magical Moment: April 2013

We have reached the end of another month in the year 2013.  April finally brought us some beautiful spring weather, but we were constantly under the threat of the dreaded “s” word ( that would be snow 🙂 ).  I do think though that we can finally put the boots and snow pants away and just breathe in the fresh air that always comes with the month of May.  In thinking of a way to honor or mark the passing of April I thought why not share one or two of the more special or magical things that happened to me and my family in the last thirty days.  Thus the category My Magical Moment was born. 🙂

So, for my inaugural My Magical Moment post for April 2013 I would like to share something pretty great that happened to me this past month.  I bought a ticket, my very first ticket, to the blogging conference called Blissdom Canada 2013!!  This conference, which is not until October of this year, will give me the opportunity to stretch my creative muscle and step outside of my comfort zone.  I will get to meet new people, most likely many will be bloggers, and share our common love of this great social media outlet.  There will be opportunities to check out sponsors, chat with those bloggers who are pretty famous in the blogoshpere and bounce ideas off those who have been down this road before.  It is an opportunity to become inspired and I think that is what I am looking forward to the most. 🙂  Just the idea of this conference and what will happen during it has helped me set some goals already, for me, for my family and for my blog.  I actually started to work on creating a logo for MapleMouseMama!  I am thrilled with the results so far and can’t wait to see it come to fruition.
