You know the summer is slipping by way too fast when I am posting My Magical Moment for July already! Why is it that the cold winter months take forever to move along, but the beautiful summer days just fly by? Not fair. 🙁 July brought about a few wonderful moments. It all started on July 1st, which is Canada Day up here in the Frozen North. My parents live in a gated, adult community in Wasaga Beach. It is a beautiful place to live or visit and the park they live in always has lots going on. Every year they celebrate Canada Day with a parade, BBQ, live music, games, face painting and more. The beach is less then ten minutes away if you want a dip and there is always the pool. Did I mention I want to live here when I retire?
July also brought about the start of the Summer of Giveaways for MapleMouseMama! As I get more and more involved in the blogging community I have had more and more opportunities to share in giveaways and even promote my own. It is fun to award prizes to people and the payoff for me is a great readership. Thank you to each and every one of you for bringing me daily doses of magic with your attention and your comments. ♥
July also brought our Family Week at my in-laws cottage. Even though the start was delayed by a two day power outage, it was a wonderful vacation. We did crafts, went fishing and for boat rides, had singalongs and marshmallow roasts and spent lots of time swimming. We had the thrill of a monster thunderstorm with hail thrown in and a cold front, LOL! One of the events the kiddos always look forward to is Grandma’s Treasure Hunt and this year it was even longer. The winner was four year old William and he was super happy. ♥ The week was made even better for Emily when her cousin was able to extend her visit by a couple of days. The time spent bike riding, playing with their dolls, listening to music and just being together meant the world to Emily and to me. ♥ Family Week can be stressful, but it is also magical because I am with my hubby and kiddos.
Care to share your magical moments from July 2013? Thanks for stopping by. 🙂

I would move in a heartbeat right now Jud!! It is so lovely there, the pool, small gym, fitness classes, clubs, group sports and on and on and on. My dad was even in a little muscial group for awhile, playing guitar and singing. It is really perfect!
