June was a pretty busy month since school was wrapping up for the year, along with the last few swimming lessons for the kids and Girl Guides for Emily! Emily had a great report card and both kiddos have passed on to the next level of swimming. William is taking after his big sister and has become a little fish in the water overnight! I love to watch them both in the water. ♥♥
As we all know there is always time for a little magic and I did have a few of those special moments this past June. The first one that stands out for me is the ordering and arrival of my beloved MapleMouseMama business cards. That elicited the Squee heard ’round the world. 🙂 When I first started this blog I had no intention of creating a logo and putting it on a business card. That was the furthest thing from my mind. Fast forward almost two years and not only is MapleMouseMama something I am very proud of it is also something I am thrilled to share with others. Having a business card for your blog helps you to reach more people and hopefully makes you a bit more memorable when you finally meet your bloggin’ peeps ♥ in person. 🙂 The creation of these babies was truly a labour of love for me.♥♥ I will put this out there not to come across as showing off, but because this is something I have done with other bloggers I know. If anyone would like a card just let me know and I will send you one. 🙂 Likewise, if you have a card you would care to share with me I would love to have it!
Another magical moment for me was when I received an invitation from Walt Disney Motion Pictures Canada to attend an advanced screening of the film “The Lone Ranger“!!! Talk about awe struck! I was thrilled and it was made even better when, a few days later, I was able to take Emily to the screening with me. The movie was great and Emily and I had fun on our date. 🙂 The best part for me, as a blogger, was when we signed in to get our tickets. At first the lady could not find my name on the list so I mentioned that my blog was MapleMouseMama. She immediately looked at the top of the list and there I was, listed under PRESS!! She then told Emily and I we had special seats, reserved just for the PRESS! I was as giddy as a schoolgirl eying up her crush on the playground. 🙂 It was truly a magical moment for me and to share it with Emily, my assistant, was even better. A special shout out to Nana and Papa from coming all the way to watch William that evening. ♥♥
So tell me some of your magical moments from this past June,2013? I would love to hear all about them. 🙂
