If you have children, you know how important it is to have labels with their names on them. Obviously, adults can use them as well, but I tend to get funny looks when I have my name on my lunch bag or running shoes, so I tend to stick with using labels for my kiddos only. We were pretty lucky with my daughter. We would put labels on her jacket, school bag, runners etc and they always came home with her, whether she was at school, a friend’s house and even camping with her Brownie or Guide troupe. But my son, well, he is a different story.
I do believe that young William has a set a record for the number of hoodies, mittens, hats and pants, yes even pants, that he has left at school, to never be heard from again. The reason for this “problem” is not that clear (although I suspect he is just more interested in other things going on around him,) but we have tried very hard to prevent the loss of clothing we face many times in the school year. We put labels on everything!! Even his underwear! But some still manage to slip through the cracks. That said, labeling your child’s belongings is truly the best way to go. Our school has a well maintained lost and found section and on more than one occasion we have checked it to find doubles and even triples of something William owned. Thankfully, the trusty labels allow me to find the right one in no time. It definitely saves us some big bucks. 🙂
Recently, we were sent labels from a great company called Name Bubbles and I am thrilled with them. They offer a ton of different sizes and shapes that have brightly coloured patterns on them. Name Bubbles labels are waterproof, which any parent will tell you is an important feature. These labels are perfect for anything from clothing to metal, plastic and anything in between. They are dishwasher and laundry safe, so you don’t have to worry about them coming off. Bottom line, Name Bubbles save you money.
I definitely love all of the options that Name Bubbles has, like Clothing Labels that are Press and Stick or Iron On. Or their School, Daycare and Camp packages, which give you more bang for your buck. But there is one type of label they offer that sets them apart from many other label companies: Safety Labels. These are perfect for a lunch bag, containers and even a thermos. Name Bubbles have allergy specific labels for things like Eggs, Nuts and Dairy and they also carry ones for things like Autism and other medical issues. You can choose a label that has a lot or a little bit of information. It’s up to you. The delightful patterns will ensure your kiddo will like them too. 🙂
