First real snowfall of the year is happening right now and it is gorgeous!! Big, fat lazy flakes of fluffy white snow are drifting to the ground, but there is a lot of them 🙂 I do love the snow…I just hope the drive in the morning will be okay.
So I have set up Emily’s big surprise for later this week and I am so excited!! I hope she notices it on her own and comes up with some crazy ideas of what it is. I bought this lovely Disney Princess musical Christmas card and decorated the envelope. I wrote her a short letter and put it inside. The letter explains she is getting an early Christmas present to Disney World! The intention is for her to open the card on Thursday morning, right before we are going to leave for the airport. The note explains that she and I are off to our happy place TODAY!!! I can’t wait to see her reaction 🙂 I just know she will be thrilled and totally surprised!! Stay tuned for updates as this wonderful adventure progresses….

OMG,i can just see & hear the excitement when she found out.We suprised our daughter like this when she was 9 the trip was not to Disneyland it was to Halifax.
I can’t even fathom what her reaction was. You’re really great parents for thinking of this and for pulling it off!! What an awesome memory for her to have.
