Strauss WaterBar – Ride Water’s Next Wave! #StraussWaterBar

May 1, 2015 By: MapleMouseMama31 Comments

Strauss WaterBar

I have always been a heavy drinker – of water, that is.  Way before it was trendy to buy tons of plastic bottles and tote them everywhere I was packing my refillable water bottle.  I love water; cold, cool or room temperature, it’s all good. That said we drink tap water at home. It’s okay. Take a minute to digest that and then start reading again. I can wait… All good? Yes, many people frown on drinking water straight from the tap, but it never really bothered me. I know our city does a decent job of making sure our water is okay to drink, right? Well, maybe not the best job, but what’s an eco-conscious mama to do?

Enter Strauss Water Canada and their amazing counter top drinking water filtration system, the Strauss WaterBar.  This past weekend I was introduced to this gorgeous machine and it has been hard to return to the tap ever since.  Strauss Water graciously hosted a bevy of bloggers at the BabyTime Show and we were showered with delicious drinking water the whole time. I was in heaven!

Strauss WaterBarStrauss WaterBarStrauss Water has been providing the world with easy solutions to obtaining healthy, good ole fashioned H20 for over 40 years and they are not slowing down. The Strauss WaterBar is the answer to today’s call for convenience, style and above all else, environmentally friendly alternatives to bottled, filtered or tap water.  These beautiful dispensers come in two different models, the T6 and the T7 and a stunning array of colours! This is one appliance you will never park under the sink, out of sight.

The secret to the great tasting water you will get from your Strauss WaterBar is in the triple water filtration and purification process it employs.  This technology kills 99.9% of micro-organisms and bacteria while absorbing the chlorine that contributes to marring the taste of water.  This process combines an activated carbon filter, a micro-mesh filter and ultra violet light to deliver safe, great tasting water, all the while maintaining essential mineral elements including calcium and magnesium.

Unlike those huge coolers that take up half of the kitchen and use cumbersome water jugs, the Stauss WaterBar is hooked up to your main water line so you will get an unlimited and uninterrupted supply of purified water just the way you want it: cold, boiling hot or room temp, all at the touch of a button. Goldilocks would be jealous.  Gone are the days of messing around with monthly filter changes. The long life filters and UV lamp need only be changed twice a year so you have more time to enjoy your Strauss WaterBar.

While I am raving on about the Strauss WaterBar let us not forget how family friendly it is! Each model has two tanks, one for cold and one for boiling hot water, that hold about 1.5 litres each! That’s a lot of water at the ready.  And talking about hot water, there is a child locking feature built right in to keep inquisitive little kiddos safe. It will even beep if they start messing around so you can shoo them out of the way. 🙂 I really like that you can set your favourite cup size and fill up a pot or jug, all from the same unit. How’s that for convenience?

The eco-friendliness of the Strauss WaterBar extends beyond saving our landfills from thousands of plastic water bottles. It helps reduce your power consumption with sleep and wake modes you can set. The overall functioning of your unit is way more energy efficient then using a kettle to make your tea and the end result will taste amazing!

Now I know what you are thinking so allow me to quell your queries; the cost.  That is one of the best parts! A Strauss WaterBar will run you about $1.00 per day, plus it will be installed by the professionals so you don’t have to dig around under your sink pretending you know what you are doing. Not having to call a plumber later is worth a lot more than one dollar, right? Just think about how much money we spend on the various forms of so called convenient water sources and I think you will agree that one dollar is mere pennies. 😉

The benefits of clean, safe, saporous drinking water all at your fingertips are endless, but add in the convenient, pretty packaging the Strauss WaterBar comes in and I think you will be riding Water’s Next Wave right along side me. 🙂

In the meantime you can find Strauss Water Canada on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and learn more about the Strauss WaterBar here.

How many glasses of water do you drink each day?  I love it so have no problem getting in 8 to 10 cups.

These are a great size! I love that they don’t take up too much room. And they look great too! I think I’d pick the red one.

Love Strauss Waterbars! Have had the pleasure of trying their fabulous waterbars at a number of conferences recently, and love everything about how they provide filtered, fresh tasting water. Also find it really cool that you can get hot filtered water at a touch of a button!

Sounds very interesting! Doesn’t take up too much room and looks good, that’s okay. I haven’t had the pleasure of trying the water from one as of yet. I try and drink six to eight glasses of water a day. I also love my tea!

Sounds like a good water filter. We’ve been buying bottled water for years and I’d like to go back to using water filters to save money. Thanks for sharing!

So this waterbar filters and kills bacteria in water? I am using one that does alkalinizing and filtering. But it couldn’t produce hot and cold water like this Strauss Waterbar.

It gets rid of chlorine but leave the good minerals in the water? That’s just great! I love the compact size, it won’t occupy too much space in the kitchen plus it looks stylish too. What a great product all in all. I hope it becomes available in the Philippine market soon!

What an interesting machine! But how does it hook up to the main water system? Will we need a plumber for it or is it something anyone can do easily? Is it available in the Philippines? Would love to have one!

Admriable statement that water should not be bottled up. However, practicality demands it. I just hope people do not litter their water containers.

That is cool. In the Philippines, we rely so much on bottled water. There are home purifiers available but they are too expensive and the maintenance is not that reliable.
