Take A Snow Day #Giveaway

November 22, 2014 By: MapleMouseMama106 Comments

Take a snow day 1

As many of us know the lovely winter weather has already begun and it is not even December yet!  What is up with that?  Well, since you can’t beat the snow you might as well get out of it – at least for an afternoon or two.  That’s where we come in. MapleMouseMama has teamed up with a couple of talented Canadian Mompreneurs to bring you a sweet winter giveaway designed to keep you out of the cold! Come on and take a snow day with us…

The prize package we have to share with one lucky reader has been brought to you by some wonderful people.  First up on the list is Riley from Bayo Bundles!  As you may recall from this great interview I recently did with Riley, Bayo Bundles delivers monthly subscription boxes right to your door.  Each activity kit is designed to inspire, educate and most of all, have fun.  Bayo Bundles has a great new product line, just in time for the holidays.  Introducing Travel Bundles – everything you have come to love and expect from the classic bundles, just in a smaller, more convenient way.  You will find the same attention to detail in a Travel Bundle as well as engaging, hands-on and fun activities to keep your young ones busy while on the road or in the air!  Our lucky prize winner will receive one Travel Bundle from Bayo Bundles, just in time for winter break.  Thank you Riley!

Another great prize is queuing up and that is from Karen, of Simply Fun Families.  As we learned during Part One and Part Two of my interview with Karen, she has a goal for her family and that is to create wonderful memories by spending quality time together, creating, crafting and caring. At Simply Fun Families you can learn some of Karen’s secrets and tips to making your own fabulous memories.  Karen has generously provided three great items for our prize pack!  Our winner will get their very own Limited Edition Countdown to Christmas Activity Kit, (formerly known as 25 Days of Christmas) which is sort of like a hands-on advent calendar.   You can use the activity cards in the kit and even make your own with the second part of Karen’s prize, the Countdown to Christmas Printable Card Set! This trio of offerings from Simply Fun Families also includes Karen’s eBook 50 Amazing Ways To Steal Time With Your Kids – A Parent’s Journal.  As the title implies the book is overloaded with great ideas for making those moments with your kiddos count.  Thank you Karen!

Now what would a MapleMouseMama giveaway be without a sprinkle or two of Disney thrown in? The next part of our prize, just like the first two parts, can be enjoyed inside, away from the snow and cold.  Our winner will get to snuggle up with their very own DVD copy of Disney’s blockbuster hit Frozen: Sing-Along Edition!   You can keep warm using your $25 Tim Horton’s Gift Card to buy your favourite hot beverage for sipping by the fire.

The final part of our prize is a real treat! Our lucky reader will receive six assorted flavours of the oh-so-decadent Popcorn, Indiana!  We recently got to try out the newest member of the Popcorn, Indiana family – Chocolate Peanut Butter DrizzleCorn.  Yes, it sounds as good as it tastes.  Two things I love together: chocolate and peanut butter, generously trickled over popcorn to stick together forever in a marriage of pure delight.  Oh my, I think I need a moment. 🙂 The yummy flavours aside (it even comes in Dark Fudge Sea Salt Caramel flavour) Popcorn, Indiana is gluten free with no artificial colours or flavours.  It has zero cholesterol and zero grams of trans fat.  Healthy snacking that tastes amazing! Just think – six bags of Popcorn, Indiana will cover a lot of snow days. 🙂

OMG I love this! I personally can’t handle snow – but I will try to brave it for the sake of fun for the kiddo. We don’t get much snow, so we go out and enjoy it. But then the best part of snow day is sitting by the fire (either at home or at the coffee shop) and having a nice warm hot chocolate with the little and my husband. Ahhh – I love snow day!
