I am so excited to be able to share this really sweet giveaway opportunity with MapleMouseMama’s followers. Up for grabs in this Back to School contest is the cutest book ever! It is called “The Pocket Mommy” by Rachel Eugster and is presented by Random House! Yes, the Random House!! This adorable story is great for first timers heading off to school this fall ( just like my little man ) or even for those returning for their second, third or even fourth trip to the playground. “The Pocket Mommy” will help your little scholar deal with the changes they will experience, including being away from their parent or caregiver all day.
Everyone gets nervous at times and in “The Pocket Mommy” Samuel is no different as he heads off to his first day in Kindergarten. He wishes his mommy could tag along with him and so his mama does the next best thing and slips a pretend version of herself into Samuel’s pocket!! Even though having his pocket mama there with him is pretty cool at first, things take a turn when mama tries to take over! The end results will have your little ones laughing out loud. “The Pocket Mommy” is an endearing tale of growing up and letting go and is one sure to be a hit in your home.
Random House is generously giving away ten copies of “The Pocket Mommy” and this opportunity is open to Canadian and US residents ( excluding Quebec). The contest will run from Friday, August 23rd and end on Tuesday, September 3rd. To enter just simply fill out the Rafflecopter widget on my MapleMouseMama Facebook page HERE. You will find that under the big, blue Giveaway sign at the top!
Alternatively you can enter HERE at the Facebook page Children’s Books by Random House of Canada by clicking on the big, blue Giveaway button and then filling out the Rafflecopter widget. Easy as pie!
How did your kiddos do on their first day of school? Or if you have one starting this fall, do you think they would need a Pocket Mommy? Share your thoughts in the comments and good luck!!

They did great , just didn’t want to go back this early
That is good to hear Diane! I feel for them having to start back in August. We have always started back after Labour Day and it is somehow easier because the weather is usually a bit cooler. However, it is never an overly joyful occasion for lots of kiddos, LOL. Good luck with the giveaway!
