I completed my application for the 2013 Disney Moms Panel and I am done. Done as in wiped out, spent, exhausted. It has been a long, tiring day and I am ready for bed. My job is demanding, not so much physically as it is mentally and today was a doozy. We started Emily’s first year of Guiding tonight so more busyness to deal with. However, I said I wanted to do my application tonight and I did. 🙂 It is only 1:30 in the morning, not too shabby.
Before I head off though, I want to reflect on a few things. I am hoping this reflection will be one of the first in what will be a long list as I make my way, finally, through each round of applying. I was so emotional today, every time I talked about the panel, the application and commitment involved. This is it. This is what I was meant to do. I just know it. I probably sound silly to some, but this dream, it’s not going away. Faith, trust and pixie dust. I have it. That’s it.
Friends, good Disney loving friends. That is what I have received from the Moms Panel, many times over. I do not know them all by name, but I know their spirit. We all share this common love for something wonderful, something magical and I am truly grateful for that. I am grateful that Disney brought these people into my life and no matter what happens to some of us, we will remain a constant for one another.
I think that is it for now. I am crossed eyed as my mama used to say. Time to bail before the babbling starts. 🙂 Thank you Walt. Thank you Mickey. You probably have no idea what you have done for so many, but I just need to say thanks.

Suzanne, I wish you all the best with the Moms Panel. I completely understand the passion and feel truly blessed to have met you, albeit through cyber space.
