It is now my 40th birthday. I don’t feel any different. I don’t look any different. So what is all the fuss about? Maybe I will find out later today. That would be cool. Maybe I should pretend that something really awesome is gonna happen and have that excitement carry me through the day! Well, one good thing I know for sure is that I get to leave work a bit early. A few years ago, about eight I would say, our company decided you could leave two hours early on your birthday. Not as great as having the whole day off, but I will take it. I have kind of made it a tradition to do something special with those two hours, for just Emily and I. It has, for the past four, now five years involved going to school. With my birthday falling around that most wonderful time of the year it just seemed like a good idea. So, tomorrow I will pick her up and we will have lunch and then go running shoe shopping! Nothing too fancy, but I would also like to surprise her with a pair of earrings. Emily has two pairs of earrings and she would love a new pair for school. So why not?!
After that it is dinner at The Mandarin. The Mandarin seems to be our go to restaurant for family related special occasions. The food is great and with all those options you can not go wrong! Emily just loves the choices a huge buffet gives you! I guess I can’t blame her 🙂 I will partake of a “few” spring rolls cause they are my favorite! And then we shall see where the world take us. It is not hard to tell that I worked the late shift at work tonight. I feel like I am babbling about nothing much, so I will take my leave and bid the work good night. Maybe when I wake up I will look different???

Hi Maple Mouse Mamma Well I don’t know anymore about a “Blog” than you do, as a matter of fact you know more, but I enjoy you talking about everything and anything. I am ssure the folks that will be heading off to DW will like all the tips you have given them.
Happy Birthday have a wonderful day and a fun blog!
Now I am not sure of what to do next, so I will hit a few buttons and see what happens.

Well you finally did one of the other “bucket list” items you have talked about for a while now, you shared your Disney passions and expertise with any one who is looking for advice. It might not be the ‘moms panel’ but I am sure you will have many followers and meet many new friends worldwide.
