Last summer I spent an afternoon being treated to a hearty meal while being entertained like no television show could ever accomplish. This treat for the senses occurred while we took in an afternoon show at the Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in Toronto, Ontario! Now who here doesn’t love to be fed delicious food while watching brave knights fight for your honour? I am sure there is not a damsel among us who would say no.
Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament takes a step, or two, back in time to an age where protecting the king was everything and trying to catch the eye of the fair young princess was every knight’s desire. Not only will you feast on a meal of comfort foods like roasted chicken and potatoes, you will also get to eat that yummy fare with your bare hands! After all the Medieval Times came long before the modern day utensils we use today. 🙂 Don’t worry, napkins are a’plenty and your serving wench will make sure you are well taken care of.Â
The fun doesn’t stop with eating with your hands, oh no. There is so much going on during your meal it is almost hard to know where to look: at the handsome knights as they prance around on beautiful horses decked out in full parade colours, at the challenging swordplay, the antics of The Court or the talents of those amazing horses. You will be entertained from the moment you arrive until long after the show is over.
Now comes the best part! One lucky reader of MapleMouseMama will win Four Tickets to a Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament show of their choice (to be taken within six months of winning at the Toronto location and excluding New Year’s Eve). Isn’t that amazing!?! The tickets are valued at more than $250.00 and are well worth the price. This giveaway is open to Canada only, ages 18 and older (excluding Quebec).
