Why A Family Cruise Vacation Is Like Celebrating Your Birthday Every Day!

cruise vacation

“Kids, fancy a holiday where it feels like your birthday every day!?”

Can you just picture the beaming smiles and excited whoops that you will receive? Well, if you book a Cruise Deals family vacation you best get ready to see those happy, excited faces a lot more because your kiddos will just love a cruise holiday.

The grinning faces will appear the minute you arrive as little one’s eyes widen upon seeing the 138,000-ton vessel – the biggest pirate ship ever!

And boy do the cruise ships need to be big to hold all the exciting facilities that your kids will love; huge, outdoor H2O Zone Water Park with slides, water spouts and pools for all ages; kids-only dance parties, movies and cartoons, ice cream and pizza parties, T-shirt coloring, pajama parties, theme nights, family fun fairs, art projects and children’s play area.

You see why every day will feel like a kids’ birthday? Told ya. 🙂

There is plenty for older children to do so there are no worries about siblings squabbling. From the sports court and sports pool, arcades, ice rink and rock climbing to watching a movie on the deck with popcorn and ice cream and the special Teen-only lounges filled with awesome entertainment and consoles, like Playstation and Wii games, movies, music, foosball tables, your teen will never be bored!

There is welcoming staff on hand to make sure your kids are having the time of their lives no matter what their age. We all know kids are sociable beings, especially the older ones and a family cruise is the perfect place for your children to make new friends. 🙂

Of course it would not feel like a birthday without some delicious food; Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar, pizzerias, burger and hot dog grills – heck, I’d want to spend my birthday on a cruise too!

And that’s all before you leave the ship. Cruises take you to some of the most amazing places in the world that kids will remember forever.  The ports often offer a peek into a new culture with sites, sounds and smells to thrill your whole family. Don’t forget your camera!

I love that your itinerary is all organized for you and your family with everything on hand so parents don’t have to think about a thing. This leaves you with more time to hang out with your little ones rather than arguing over a map or trying to interpret a travel timetable.  We all know that relaxed parents make for happy kids, right? 🙂

Also, don’t forget that everything is already paid for so you don’t need to worry about having cash on hand or scrimping to have enough for cool souvenirs. Every day really can be like celebrating your birthday. What should we do today kids?

Have you ever been on a cruise before? What would be your dream destination?

My dream is to bring my family on a Disney Cruise. My boys would LOVE that. My hubby and I have been on two Princess cruises. One on our honeymoon and once on a European cruise for a vacation. LOVED them!

I have always wanted to go on a cruise. This one sounds fun but I think I will stick to a cruise to Italy with less kids. I already raised mine but the grandkids would love this…

I have never been on a cruise and have really fancied going on one. My kids used to get sea-sick crossing the English Channel on the ferry, which is perhaps one of the reasons.

We missed out on the fun of taking our kids when they were at home with us. An adult family cruise to the Bahamas would be fun though!

My dream vacation has always been to take my kids to Disney World/Land but lately I have heard so many great things about Disney Cruises!! Hopefully it will happen before my kids all leave home, my oldest os 18yr boy, 16 twin boys and my daughter is 12 already but unfortunately no matter how hard I try to have up for something fun for my family, as a single mom, who is recently become a grandma, unless the stars align I I win a vacation, it is faraway dream!!

I never got to take my daughter to Disney when she was young, so maybe a Disney cruise would make up for that.

I highly recommend a Disney cruise Micheline. While I have yet to post about them we have been on two and they were magical! It is definitely worth checking into. Your grand-kids would be so impressed!
