If it’s one thing my kids love it’s LEGO! We have several sets that have kept my son occupied on many an afternoon and my daughter has put together a few of her own as well. One thing I love about LEGO is that you don’t have to be a kid to enjoy it. It is kind of like colouring. It is fairly easy to do, can be relaxing and challenging at the same time and the end results don’t have to be perfect. You are only limited by your imagination! One of the coolest places we have been to recently is LEGOLAND Discovery Centre where you can quite literally let your imagination run wild!
This year marks the two year anniversary of LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto, located in Vaughn Mills. This wonderful establishment has been challenging the minds of many for awhile now and if you haven’t visited before I strongly suggest you do. With over three million LEGO bricks of all shapes, sizes and colours there is virtually nothing you can not create. One of the things I truly appreciate about LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is that it is not just for kids. Aside from hosting birthday parties, they also offer events like adult night with special themes.
You will never be bored at LEGOLAND. From the moment you enter until the time you leave your eyes will be darting everywhere! My kids and I really enjoyed the Factory Tour that shows you exactly how a LEGO brick is made. I think my favorite area was Miniland Toronto. Many of our famous landmarks, like the CN Tower, City Hall, Young & Dundas Square, Rogers Centre and more are brought to life LEGO style. Miniland Toronto even switches from day to night every few minutes so you can check out the skyline in all sorts of colours. It is a work of art!
Now readers of MapleMouseMama have the opportunity to visit LEGOLAND for free!! We are giving away a Family Pass For Four to check out how awesome this place is for yourself.
