It sure has been a strange winter in this part of Canada, hasn’t it? I’m not complaining, but the lack of snow in the Toronto area has been a bit of a bummer. Even though these almost balmy temperatures means we can linger outside a little longer without fear of frostbite, it also means the roads, sidewalks and grassy areas are a slushy mess! Playing outside means mud and mushy dirty snow being brought into the house. Ah, no thank you. With the end of the winter season not quite on the horizon yet, it’s time to encourage the kiddos to bring their play inside for a bit.
Thankfully we have The Great Indoors Playbook to keep us busy. The good folks at Schneiders, Maple Leaf Foods and Maple Leaf Prime have come up with some pretty cool indoor activities that will turn any dreary day into the ultimate family play date. 🙂 My kids are eager to play Shoe Free Kick and Kitchen Archery.
