Wordless Wednesday is usually a Disney theme for me and in fact should you still want to check out some great Disney photos the Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop, hosted by Deb at Focused on the Magic, is alive and well. The theme this week is Disney Weenies. Trust me, it’s not what you think.
I love Disney, but after the great time we had this morning I wanted to share a couple of photos from that.
As mentioned in this blog post we had Kyle Dine perform at our school today. Kyle is a wonderful children’s entertainer and Food Allergy Awareness advocate. He put on two shows for the kid’s today and they were both awesome! I, I mean the children, had a great time. Both Emily and William got to meet Kyle and I snapped some photos for posterity. I hope you enjoy them.

Emily asked Kyle to sing a favorite song, “Food Allergies Rock” and he invited her to sing with him!

I’ve never heard of him before, but that is really great. Music is such an effective way to get a message to stick!
The kids loved it, music definitely does the trick!
I’ve never heard about him either! This would have been helpful when I was growing up as I was the only one with a serious allergy at my public school!
I agree Renee that it would have been a great help for kids when we were growing up. It is nice to see that someone has tackled this head on and is not afraid to share this type of music..
awesome Suz
Thanks Diane!
That’s so wonderful that they’re trying to raise allergy awareness. I’ve got two children with (thankfully not life threatening) food allergies.
The show was fantastic Lori, the children loved it and I was happily surprised at how aware the younger kiddos were..
Glad to see that the show was a big success! Pictures are nice of the kids especially the one of Emily and Kyle. Good job SuzieQ
Thanks Mama!
LOL. How awesome that there is a show for food allergies. I kind of really want her shirt for like 10 people in my life. That’s incredibly fun.
It was a fantastic show Paula and believe me, you are not the only one who covets Emily’s t! Even Kyle commented on it, LOL
It looks like you all had a great time Suz! It’s a great way to teach kids about food allergies!
Thanks Sam, it was a perfect day!
This was a great idea of yours, Suzanne! I’m curious, did Kyle share with the children his own many allergies? I, too, think that it is a fantastic way to educate everyone about food allergies. And, of course, great pictures of the kids and Kyle.
Thank you Gem
Yes, Kyle actually works it into a song for the younger kids about his own allergies in a fun and educational way. He even had the principal guessing, LOL
What a great way to share information about food allergies. Great pictures of your little guy. Food allergies can be so daunting for children. My son suffers from them. Not fun!
Thanks Deb
Sucks when your kids have something like this. Kyle is a great entertainer and the kids loved him!
